HI! We've dined pretty much at all of our "must do" places during past trips. At times, we've found that our plans for the day have been dictacted around having to get to those reservations though so I am considering "winging it." Is it typical to have so many openings mid-summer just two weeks out or shoud I nab our ressies NOW?

I see there are so many dining openings where we'd like to dine that are available so far for our trip (which is coming up in just two weeks). I am a bit surprised to see this since July is suppose to be sooo busy.

Help me decide, should go ahead and risk walk-ins for our dining experiences this time around? What do you recommend?:confused3

I found this to be true as well. We were originally going on Aug 10-22 but due to me being accepted into Nursing school, I had to move our trip to the last week of July. I was so worried about all the ADRs I had made. But I got all the ones I wanted with no problem:surfweb:

How many are in your party??? Honestly, I would just wing it with some of the ressies. I would definitely book your fave places, or at least a couple of restaurants. But wing it for the rest. It CAN be done. I've winged it on many trips, for example: Raglan Road, Rose & Crown, Teppan Edo (very busy during EMH!), and Tony's. So it can be done for sure. This trip I only made about half the ressies and will wing it for the other half. It works for us. We go crazy when every single day is structured and planned down to the last minute. As long as your flexible with choices and times, i dont think you will have a problem. Remember, eating off-hours definitely helps too!

There are only three of us. Love your advise---I will book a couple and wait for the rest---I am still happily surpised I have this option. :wizard:

Congrats on NSG School acceptance and great you could get the ADR's you wanted. That's pixie dust for sure for you!

I have found the same exact same situation for upcoming trip in July. Not complaining, obviously, but it does seem odd to me. Does this translate into fewer park patrons, I wonder? And :woohoo: for getting good ADRs.

We just booked a trip for the end of the month. Completely last minute. There are so many ADR choices! I got the Wishes Dessert Party and am thinking about what else to book. We usually do character meals and I have seen most available every day we will be there. I hope this means low crowds :)

Maybe we just have some good ADR pixie dust?! :wizard:

We went late July in the past and the crowds were nearly the same as light May crowds and the weather was beautiful, too! I am leaning toward winging it and just doing walk in reservations at this point as we're only about 10 days out and there are plenty of reservations. Hate to risk it though BUT this would allow us to free up our park days.

Crowds: I wonder if residents go more in the sumer but do not eat at TS places? Well, here's MORE pixie dust just in case...I hope you have a great trip!:wizard::wizard::wizard:
