Nothing for Polynesian Luau - keep calling?

We are making an unplanned last minute trip to Disney and we are staying at the Polynesian, but there is no availability at the luau for the last week of April, first week of May for the 5:15 show, should I just keep calling to see if something opens up? Has anyone walked up to the luau? We cannot do the late show because our 16 month daughter goes to bed at 8 p.m.

for sure keep calling, people change plans all the time! GL My 3 kids loved Ohana's over the dinner show. They have coconut races for the kids,they do the limbo, and teach them how to do the hula dance just in cast you didn't know it's a great alternative. Food is awesome too.Have a magical time.
