Has anyone who has a cruise booked way out, like over a year or more been able to bring up the reservation on the new site with your DCL ressie #and birthday?
I booked though a TA and paid the deposit (months ago) for a 12/06 sailing...out of curiosity I checked to see if it would show up and no luck.
:confused3
I sure hope it is actually booked! Will put in a call to the TA...but thought maybe if others are also having this problem, it's DCL not my TA!

BTW---I am still not able to register my kids online or even view spa information for our cruise that is only 1 month from now!! I actually answered the pop-up ad/questionaire from the site so I could let them know I am NOT impressed with the new site. Once it all works, maybe. Until then, they are wasting our time.

The booking is actually the "property" of the TA, not yours. It will not be connected to your brithday (previously phone number). DCL is obligated to work with you via your TA only.

I had a similar problem. DH and I booked a October 2006 cruise through a TA this past March. However, I couldn't retrieve my reservations on-line. I called DCL and the reason is they (DCL) do not have our birthdays on file. I then contacted my TA to release our birthdays to DCL. It seemed to work because now I can see our reservation on-line. Good Luck!

We booked through DU and are about 160 days out and can view our ressies. At first I had problems until I read another post where it said to log-in to the site first then go to the view ressies, and it worked fine.

Could someone tell me whether the reservation number would have 7 numerical digits? My TA gave us a booking number with 7 digits..I'm just wondering if that's the same number as the reservation number. We sail in September and have only paid a deposit so far, but was hoping I could at least view my reservation..you know, just to be assured that our booking actually exists!

Booked on-board w/ DCL, then transferred to The-Cruise-Authority.com, but just to see I went to the DCL website and was able to see our ressie. Put in my DOB, and it came up even though DCL had actually entered DW as the primary name and DOB for the ressie. So only about 431 days and I can book Palo's and Spa and maybe an excursion.

We are booked for July 2006 and I was able to login a couple of days ago and view our reservation! :cool1: Now I wish I could just make my reservation at Palo! :goodvibes

I know this has been asked probably a million times already..but please bear with me. For those who can see their ressies from a sailing over a year, have you paid in full? My sailing is in Sept., but I haven't paid in full..only the deposit. Is that why I can't see mine? Sorry, I'm just worried.

We booked through a TA for our 12/06 cruise and I have had no problem pulling up my ressie.

You're not supposed to do this but.........if you look at the information on the ressie your TA gave you and then log in as the TA with the information that can be found on your ressie.... you can see your information. Again...I'm sure you're not supposed to do this but if you merely want to verify that your reservation is valid it can be done. Not that I did this of course.

I meant to post that I have only paid my deposit and I am able to pull my reservation stuff up on disneycruise.com

We have only put the deposit down at this point. I pay in full a few weeks before the final payment date. So, you should be able to view your ressie.

I am confused, so you can make your ressies 431 days out?? How is that possible?

I think the poster was joking that they "only" have 431 days to wait until they can make Palo/spa/etc. ressies.

I am the OP and my problem is solved. My TA got back to me and said that when she rebooked my reservation so I could get the $50 shipboard credit for using my Disney Visa, my ressie number changed...she just forgot to give me the new number. Whew, all confidence in my TA has been restored!
Thanks for all the input! :)

I wish I could gain some confidence in MY TA. I finally figured out why I could'nt view my ressies. I called my TA twice, asking her if she is sure she had the correct reserv. #, and, quite rudely, said that was the number. So I finally called the DCL number (which I might add, were VERY helpful!) and they said that I did'nt have the correct reserv # and that probably the number I had was some kind of internal booking number. So I got my reserv. number from DCL, and now I can view my reservation..which I'm quite relieved about..as I was getting worried there was something wrong with the booking. I should have just booked the cruise on the disney site rather than go through a TA. The TA did give me a slightly lower rate, but the hassle has'nt been worth it.

To take advantage of the discounts and/or onboard credit offered from some TAs. You can book with DCL first and then easily transfer your booking to a TA. That's what I did and I kept the original ressie # and I have changed dates and itineraries a few times and the ressie # has stayed the same.
