Just a few quick notes:

Dolphin lobby is beautiful. The tree is huge and the train that goes round it is a nice touch. Check in was a breeze. We arrived at 10am and our room was actually ready. We got a crescent lake view and it's nice - thelake is immaculately clean and the sun reflects off it in the morning. We got a renovated room and oh my! The beds are even better than I anticipated! Wonderfully soft - maybe the best night of sleep I've gotten in many nights.

We got to MK at 11am, and it was PACKED! We fastpassed Mickey's Philharmagic and the show was cool. The effects are amazing and the 3D is top notch. Don't miss this attraction. It was very warm walking around the park, but a nice breeze kept everything moderate. Haunted mansion wait wasn't bad, neither was Jungle cruise, kind of hokey but the kids really liked it.

Highlight of the first night - Hoop De Do review! We had a blast! Great food, the entertainment was fun and great service. Can't say enough about it. Really a great time for the family. My kids woke up this morning singing the songs from the show. They put us right up front in the first row, an unexpected bonus.

We plan to hit Epcot today (Thanksgiving) and we've got La Nouba planned for Saturday night. Other than that we are playing things by ear, with no real plan to speak of. So far we're having a great time!

I'll report back tonight for day 2.

Thanks for posting the notes, Slapster! :D I hope we'll get a renovated room when we check in to the Dolphin in a couple weeks!!:hyper:

Keep us informed on crowd size from park to park and day to day if you can please. I know a lot of people going in the next few weeks will be wondering. Since your near the Beach Club, is there any noticable renovating going on over there? Have a Beavertail at Trapper Bob's for me. It's in Canada in the world showcase..

The MK and Epcot were packed Thursday and Friday, with a noticable thinning on Saturday. Sunday was moderate with no real wait times on the major attractions (5-10mins) for the "mountains". Sunday was the best day at MK for us, since the crowds were light, and DD and DS got lots of autographs and pics with the characters.
