Not yet a member of the DVC...Help!

My husband & I are so excited about becoming members but I still have questions...

Do you have to pay anything, besides your dues, when renting at DVC? Are there taxes per night? Is there some kind of fee? What is an exchange fee?

Please help. We want to buy at SS before the 10/31 credit goes away!!!

There are no additional room costs at a DVC resort. Once you purchase and stay current in your dues that's it (except for personal charges to the room like phone calls, etc.) If you charged nothing to the room and made no calls the bill is......$0!

When you book a WDW resort there is also currently no other charge. When you make any other kind of exchange they charge an "exchange fee". Currently, this is $95.
