I am really wanting to get an above ground pool. I don't really know much about them though. So i hope someone does & could help me out. I have been looking at the 15' to 18' diameter pools.

?1. Is there basically any need to pay $300+ more for a 3 ft difference. Does it really make a difference to have the extra 3 ft.??

?2. I am wanting to get this online well so far the cheapest i have found has been online. I don't have the best credit. I just started working again after being a stay at home mom for past 5 years. Is there a place i can get financing with the not so good credit. (I am sure there has to be)??

?3. Also i have not a clue what the best name brand of pool there is & what is the reasonable price for that. I have listed a couple that i have found could someone tell me if they are good pools & great price. these are all standard packages in which contains the pump, liner, skimmer, ladder, vacume hose, maintance kit.
Prices goes up $200-$500 with better packages.

Ultima Pools,15' $1,399.00 18'$1,649.00
Sandstone 15' $1,169.00 & 18' $1,279.00
Venetian Pools 15' $1,749.00 18'$2,049.00

any help would be great

just squirt yourself with the hose

Go for the bigger pool but most especially, get one that's 52 inches deep not 48. Mine is 48 which was fine when my DD was little, but now the kids are all big and wish the pool was deeper. I don't know anything about brands but to address your credit issues, my advice would be to wait until you can pay cash. The premium that you'll pay financing it makes it a very costly choice.

What I would do if I were you is to find out total cost of putting in your pool before buying it.

You need so much more than just the pool. Yard repair, rock, drainage, fence (is yours up to code for a pool?), pool chemicals & tools, etc. and other things that will end up costing you more than the pool for starters.

Just be smart about the cost up front and do your homework.

Thanks for the advice.

we have a completly fenced in yard so that is not a problem
