In case we order room service during our upcoming AKL stay...

This is a quote from allearsnet (I assume quoting a Disney in-room dining menu)

A $3 delivery charge, applicable sales tax and 18% service charge
will be added to all orders

So is the 18% service charge the tip, or is that just some "made up" charge and then we're supposed to tip on top of that?

Thanks for any clarification.

Many hotels include a service fee and delivery fee, which equate somewhat to a tip. It is up to you if you want to give more.

I normally add a few dollars onto the total, to reflect the service received, and for the convenience factor. But that is definitely optional.

It's definitely a tip... in fact I believe it was called out as gratuity on the menu when we recently ordered breakfast from BWV room service.
