Maybe I set my expectations to high but I tough this ran by WDW and would put all my fear to rest. When we enter the buiding with our 4 and 6yo DD. They asked our last name and how we would be paying for this in the same sentence. Somehow that struck me and my father the wrong way. I am entrusting my children to these people and they could care less. They gave my daughters name tags and told them to go in. I stood there for a while and observed, none of the cast member were interacting with the kids. No one introduced themselves to my kids, gave them a tour or even showed them the bathroom. They just ran around the place. I went in had a cast member give the girls a tour, show them where the bathroom were and what the evenings activities were going to be. It was like pulling teeth! Like I said maybe my expectation were to high for wdw and $8/hr per child. My 6yo said she had a GREAT time and my 4 yo didn't have any complaints. I guess that is what matters the most

We went there in February, and the check-in and check-out people were kind of inattentive. It took forever just to get them to notice we were standing there! My daughter had an OK time, but she said it wasn't nearly as good as the Oceaneer's Club on the Disney Magic.

I haven't been in 4 years, but DS loved it and talks about going back this time. I would love to do it for him, but now with new DS - two is just too expensive for me!

My daughter went in December of last year. The lady at the front desk was very nice. She had me fill out the paper work, introduced herself to my daughter and let her design her own name tag. Said not to worry about paying until we picked her up, gave us a beeper and the telephone number, asked us where we thought we were going to be for the night, and told us to call whenever we wanted to check on DD. She then sprinkled "pixie dust" over my DD and had her climb through the window to Neverland. I called once, to have them remind DD to use the BR, as she gets caught up and forgets until it's too late, and they were very nice about that. When I picked DD up, she didn't want to leave. She and a older teenaged CM were sitting at the table making arts and crafts and watching the movie.
I am truly sorry that your experience was not a good one, but I do not think that is the norm. DD is going again in May, so I will let you all know how that visit goes :)

Have a Wonderful day, Eeyore

Too bad. My son loved it. I think with all the pressure to do anything and everything, it is a mental break to do what they want. Visually, I don't think it is impressive, but my son is already asking to go back.
