I have another question. Does National honor the rate you have on your printed confirmation? The website is doing weird things with my rate.
This for 8 days Dec 5-13. I used the DC code on Mousesavers (couldnt' get the new one from the DC website to work) and got a rate of $167.25 on Tuesday.
This morning I read the post that the January DC newsletter coupon for National should actually be entered in the coupon box, not the contract ID box, so I enter is with the contract ID and it drops my rate to $147. Oops, I'm not logged in EA, so I get out and log in, then re-do the reservation and it gives me a rate of $132.76 for the same time. The base rate has dropped quite a bit, odd, so I book it.
Now when I go in, 5 minutes later, and put in the same dates, contract ID and code, it gives me the $147 again. I can't figure it out, and I wonder if they will honor the $132 or if I should just book it at the $147 to save myself some hassle later.
