Hi,
I'm sailing on the Treasure this August 2024 with DH (57) and DD (15). We have cruised with DCL since year 2000. We've been Platinium for a while.
As experienced cruisers, we picked up this 7 day cruise in order to get to know the new ship. I think we will stay on board most of the time, having been to all ports of call several times.
Our youngest daughter is 15, she's looking forward to joining the Teens Club. Our 2 eldest kids being adults now, we disconnected with Disney little by little since we have no grandchildren yet. We are not as up to date to the newest Disney films as we have been in the past. And also, we try to enjoy more adult time as a couple as we did before.
This being said... What do you recommand as a must-do/must see on the Treasure?
Thanks for your advice

I’m interested in responses here not just for Treasure but Platinum in general. We are sailing our first Platinum this month and so far we only we only know of Palo/Remy (scheduled for Brunch) and the 3 welcome gifts. Looking forward to seeing other P perks I’m unaware of!

You can get a list of all the Platinum Castaway Club benefits on the website!

Go see the Moana and Beauty and Beast shows in the WD Theater. The Indiana Jones Choose Your Adventure in Sarabi is hysterical.

We sailed as Pearl on the Treasure in December. 2 things that were totally new (besides Moana as mentioned above), were "Choose Wisely", the adult only nighttime show in Sarabi, which was very fun, and the Jungle Cruise interactive adventure (I forget the actual name) that was done in the Grand Hall a couple of afternoons. That too was fun to watch. They got very creative with this stuff.

As always, as adults we love Palo Brunch, however not overly impressed with the adult pool area on this class of ships.

Edited...Sorry @Skippyboo, I somehow missed you mentioned Choose Wisely too. ;)

I wish they made the deck 14 Chip and Dale pool in the front of the ship adult only too. The bar is there but the pool was basically only open 1-5 pm and then lifeguard kicks you out of water for a 10 minute break. I didn’t stay long enough to see how often the break occurs.

I 100% agree! That whole area is comparable to the adult only area on the Dream/Fantasy, so I don't know why its not on the newer ships. :confused3 We did end up sitting out there and at Currents Bar, even though it's all ages, instead of the adult pool area. On the Dream/Fantasy I think the only time we are in all age areas is dinner and Cabanas.

Thank you so much!
By the way, what is "Pearl"? Is that a status above platinium?

We are not platinum but we have sailed on the Treasure. The entertainment and theming on this ship make it an absolute gem! Coriander and Sage, the storytellers, are outstanding! Some of the events are comparable to the Wish, for example live band pirate night, while others are unique to Treasure, like the Tale of Moana theater show. Let me see if I can list all the shows not to be missed (you have probably seen some of them on other ships, * if only on Treasure)

Sail Away Party - best in the fleet
Color Spin Dance Party - also a deck party
Pirate Night - both shows - the early one is characters, the late one is fireworks
Beauty and the Beast
*Tale of Moana - arrive at least 45 minutes early!
Seas the Adventure
* Choose Wisely (adult only Sage and C)
* Jungle Cruise Adventure (available at few times in atrium with Sage and Coriander)
*Match Yer Matey (adult only Sage and C)
*Re-telling of Aladdin (not sure actual name Sage and C)
*Encanto story not sure actual name, geared for kids but adorable
*The "kiss goodnight" atrium thing is 10 pm every night and there's an earlier one, maybe 5? This is the 1 thing that's a little better on Wish.
*Treasure Found - atrium final night

Also I think this goes without saying but I have to emphasize The Haunted Mansion Parlor is the best lounge/bar anywhere on the planet and cannot be missed. Plan to go several times! Scat Cat Lounge is also great, and worth a few visits, as are Jade Cricket Cafe, Skipper Society and Periscope Pub.

Have a magical time! We adored the Treasure so much we booked another cruise on her in August. We are doing the Eastern on the 16th. You?

We are Platinum and we just booked the Treasure for the May 3rd sailing for my husband’s 50th birthday!! Really looking forward to it. 😃

"We are doing the Eastern on the 16th. You?"
Hi Iloveeyeore, we sail the previous week 9-16th of August. We couldn't make it on a later cruise because of back-to-school. It would have been less expensive, but the Western itinerary is a bit less familiar to us. Anyway, we sail on DVC points...
