I dreamt this last night....One was my uncle, and one was a friend of my fathers....At any rate, it freaked me out!!

Please someone tell me this has happened to them and it has not predicted a death :scared1:

I have always heard that dreaming of a death meant that someone was going to have a baby.

When dd was a baby, I dreamt that she died. I woke up crying. It was horrible. In it, I was going to a family party and was asking my mom if everyone knew because I didn't want anyone asking where dd was. She was maybe 3 months at the time. She is almost 9 now!
Also, I just dreamt that my dog died. He's 11, but he is pretty healthy.

From what I've read in dream interpretation dreaming of a death of a loved one, whether it be a friend, a family member or yourself, usually means the end of an era in their lives, in other words, Something old is ending and something new is beginning.

I dreamt that a close friend of mine died. I also woke up quite upset. Two years later, he is alive and well.

Even creepier, I've had dreams where I killed people (I think they were generally passive killings...like I knew someone was going to die and it was preventable but I didn't stop it). I still haven't murdered anyone!

Now that I think about it, the brother of the friend I mentioned earlier had a dream once that he had to kill him because he was a vampire. So, the friend has survived at least two dreams that ended in his death. :rotfl:

Dreams are not premonitions, they what we think about in our subconcious mind. Who we love, hate or are concerned about are usually in our subconcious, so they will show up in our dreams.

Well, even freakier.

i just called my grandmother on my lunch hour to check in with her (LOVE my grammy, god bless her, she's 86), and she just informed me that two of my uncles, (both her brother in laws) went into the hospital as of this morning. :scared1:

Now, given the dream I had last night, I'd say that is pretty "coincidential".
The good thing is, they both seem to be ok...
Hope it stays that way :worship:

I've had those dreams, too. Well, mine were more like I knew that I had killed someone (like out and out murdered him/her) but I didn't see that part in the dream. I always woke up with this unbelievable overwhelming feeling of dread, like "OMG, how could you have done this to this person? How many lives did you just ruin?" etc. It almost always takes me a couple of minutes to realize it was a dream.

I hate those dreams. They happen once in a blue moon but freak me the hell out.

I have dreamt I killed people, too. It's always an accident or I am somehow involved in their deaths. For example, I dreamt my sister accidentally let my grandmother, in her wheelchair, role into a lake. When I found out about it, we agreed not to tell anyone. I was an accident and my Gma was very old, but it got out that she was killed and I was the murderer!

One summer there were 2 deaths in the family and a beloved whale died all in the space of 2 weeks. I was ana absolute wreck and kept dreaming that alive family members and pets kept dying. Go through a week, every night, dreaming that your mother died. It was a relief every morning to wake up. For the record, there were no more deaths since then which was a couple of years ago.

I once dreamt that a family friend died. I told my mom, and she informed me that he had just retired. I believe my dream meant the death of his former life, and the birth of a new beginning.

When I was in college i dreamed that my dad died. Freaked me out so bad I had to call home when i woke up. Flash forward some 15? years later and he's still ticking. Happily spending march in Boca Raton with my mom..

I heard the thing about somebody I know giving birth too, but as far as i know nobody I knew was pregnant at the time.:confused3
