You guys all know how much I really wanted to post a cruise trip report. Just got back from our non-cruise vacation. It was ok but I honestly believe half the fun is in the anticipation. I was never able to enjoy the anticipation & planning for the vaca I was just on. I was thrown into this vaca with less than 22hr notice!

Update - if all goes well I will be posting a cruise report about the Western Cruise I now have booked for next Nov! Life is good again!

So Sorry you and your family did not get to cruise. I know what you mean about the planning. I was on the Setp. 28th Mystery Cruise. And although we had a great time, the planning for our ports-of-call was all for not. But at least we got to get on the ship! But now we are planning for next year! Chin-up. Life is good. I can relate somewhat to what you said about half the fun being the anticipation...we are currently booked on the 1/18 sailing of the Magic but we won't know for SURE we're going until 1/7 so I couldn't even get all that excited when the Fed Ex man brought our documents this past Monday. I'm in a dilema about what to plan in case we DON'T get to go on the cruise. I've had so much FUN planning the cruise, and I LIKE planning for vacations so if we don't go on the cruise and we decide on something else, it's going to be weird not having anything really planned out like I normally do.
