Hi Everyone,

Well, I think my DH and I are really going to do it, WDW without the kids! We have 2 boys 9 & 12 and we always do everything together. My DH and I would like to go to WDW and see the Flower and Garden Show in Epoct May '04. Therefore, I'm going to treat myself and save $$$ over the next year and stay at either the Boardwalk or Yacht Club. Which do you recommend? We want to stay at a Epoct resort because of the Flower and Garden Show. Will probably stay for 4 nights.

Thanks for any suggestions!

We always do YC with DS, but if it was just DH and me, I would probably choose BW because it's more lively. We stayed there on our Honeymoon.

id probably opt for the yacht club. its less convenient so you might, maybe, possiblely see fewer people and kids around....maybe.

I've stayed at BWI, BWV, BC, BCV, and YC. There were less kids in BWI than any of the others. In fact it was VERY quiet there.

There's also a great lounge there, the BEllevue Room, perfect for a nightcap. Although I prefer the decor at the BC, I think I'd choose the BWI in your situation.

why not try the Swan? Still has that great Epcot location.

You'll get a much better rate, andI've read that the "heavenly beds" are just fantastic.

It is a quiet resort, and also has a 24 hour pool. Most of the rooms have just recently been refurbished too.

We decided on the Swan because of the "heavenly beds" and because of the location.

Just some food for thought.

I think you'll have a great time, no matter where you stay... enjoy your "alone time" :D

BWI in the most romantic hotel on property IMHO. The Innkeeper's Club is sublime. I actually prefer a garden or standard view here. Where else is a garden view going to give you a view of Epcot?
