Not sure what to do!

DH and I are going back to WDW in December, we will be there the 5th thru 10th. We stayed at CBR in early April for our honeymoon and loved it but wanted to try another resort. We were thinking about staying as ASMo but are also considering another moderate. What is your fave moderate and why? Which one has the best "Christmas at Disney" feel?

Never been to Disney during "Christmas" so I cannot comment on that. That being said my husband and I would reconmend either POFQ or CSR.

We stayed at the CBR in December 2000. I almost couldn't stand the Caribbean Music Christmas Carols by the end of our stay. Other than that, the decorations were very pretty.

we stayed at the CR, deluxe though, and it was great, just
enough christmas w/o going overboard got an awesome AP
rate, too. it was about the same dates you have, as well.

Definitely choose one of the moderates. Your dates coincide with the Pop Warner championships. The values will be full of kids/teams. Some of them will probably also be at the moderates.

Personally, I love the feel of POFQ at Christmas, but would choose CSR because I think it is the least likely to be the choice of the Pop Warner people.

I like kids and IMHO, the PW kids have little or no impact on the parks. However in groups, some of them can be a "pain" on the buses, in the food courts and in the pools. Have also read that some are not properly supervised and will be practicing cheers or running around late in the evening.
