HI all,
We leave in just under 2 weeks, it seemed like an age away when we booked last year and now it seems to have crept up on us.
Anyway, im starting to think about what we need to pack and would like a little help please.
We have been to Florida 3 times before but always in November, never this time of year and im not too sure on a few items we should pack.
We are staying in Las vegas for the first 5 days, so i know it will be hot hot hot there. Then we are staying at the coronado springs for 7 days and then transfering to the Residence on I drive for a further 12 days (with a one night stay in the Royal Pacific to take advantage of the front of line pass).
Ok, so heres what im wondering. Do we need to take waterproof jackets with us as ive heard the afternoon rainfall can be quite severe. Not sure whether we should expect rain every day or if its just like over here and you never know whats going to happen:confused3 Also, do we need to pack a fleece with us for the evenings or does it normally still stay hot untill later.
It seemed easier somehow packing for November because you just packed a bit of everything, not so sure about this time lol.
Thanks in advance
x

It's usually very warm still at night during the summer months, I doubt you'd need fleeces we've only needed them in November and February for chilly mornings and evenings which just don't happen in the summer it will probably be warm when you get up unlike at home. Rain showers are usually over fairly quickly just pop in a shop or jump in a queue for a ride or failing that take an umbrella, about an hour after a rain shower finishes you can hardly tell one happened as everything will be just about dried out again. You may want to keep your shoulders and "decolletage" (or cleavage to the rest of us) covered if you burn easily so maybe a small shrug cardigan or a wrap may help if you are going to be wearing something special. Have fun:hug:

We got back last month from both Vegas and Orlando. Vegas was definitely hot hot hot, we ended up going out at around 7am each morning and getting back to the hotel around 12 or 1pm and then out later in the day. (it was unbelievably warm, much warmer than we have previously experienced in Vegas).
You will definitely not need a fleece!! We had a lot of heavy down pours in Orlando but they were over pretty quick I wouldn't bother with the jackets etc. It's not like November or January when it gets a little chilly some mornings/evenings it will be hot!! :)

Have a great time.

You wont need a fleece! If you are worried, maybe take a cardigan but I don't think you'd need it!
It will rain, but it'll be over in a flash!!
Sounds like you've got a holiday of a lifetime lined up!! I'm so jealous!!!!! hehe!
The FOTL deal in the universal hotels is such a good deal IMO.
You'll have a great time!

Happy holiday-ing!

We've been 3 times in August. Only worn my cardi on the plane. Never worn rain gear as we'd have been as wet from sweating as we would from the rain.

Thanks for all the replys guys. Looks like we wont be needing our rain jackets or fleeces after all lol, will just take a cardi like you all suggest.

offtoseemickey, 'sounds like youve got a holiday of a lifetime lined up'
We kindof do, it was dd 16th birthday in Feb, my hmmmm 40th in March and our 20th wedding anniversary in Sep. So we decided to roll everything into one and push the boat out with this holiday. I dont think we will be going away next year so intend to make the most of it:)
Thanks again guys
