Not sure if this is the right board, but I have to ask anyhow..

Could you please locate my extra set of car keys????

Do you have any idea how difficult that would be? We would have to go back and re-read every single post you have ever made and then examine each and every word with a magnifying glass, while checking dates, times the posts were made, etc..

Quite frankly, I think your mystery would be a tad on the boring side - unless of course you can "juice it up" for us somehow...

I'm afraid we will have to pass on this case................ :lmao:

I haven't had a lot of time to read the boards for the past two weeks or so and yesterday I was playing "catch up".. I came across a thread where someone had posted that they had been banned from Disney for life !!

Can this really happen? And under what circumstances? What kind of offense would warrant such a severe punishment?

It's something I never thought of before - and certainly never heard of Disney doing to anyone.. Does anyone here actually know someone who was banned? :confused3

I do not think there is a reasonable expectation that people who are "banned for life" from Disney will not go back. What it does prevent is possible future scams and potentially harsher punishment if it is clear that the person was not allowed there in the first place.

saw where a Hong Kong soldier pleaded guilty to shoplifting a key ring at H.K. Disneyland. Too bad our boys arent half the man he is.

I actually know someone who is not very close to me who was told that they would not be welcome back to WDW.
The story goes back about 10 years ago so I don't recall every detail. This couple and their 3 year old son were going to get on a ride (I think it was Dumbo) and the son ran, tripped, and cut something like his chin or knee. From what I hear the castmembers were attentive taking them to first aid to get the child patched up. The parents started ranting, raving and threatening to sue Disney because their son fell on Disney property. With all of the attention that was being given to this boy, the Disney people thought that they were being quite kind and there was no need to threaten to sue. The parents were accused of just looking for a way to sue a deep pockets company so they were escorted off of the property and told that they would never be welcomed back. How something like this would be enforced I don't know.
I have not had contact with these people since that accident so I've never had any follow-up discussion on the incident.
The parents were business partners of my daughter's godfather which is the person who told us the story so it's a one off tale that I heard. However, in the few times I had been around these parents and knowing the godfather well, I have no reason to believe the tale was false in any way. They were the type of people who would do something as to what was described. If I remember to ask my daugther's godfather about this again, I'll try to get more details.
FYI, I couldn't have thought of two lovlier people for something like this to happen to.

Just a little OT. I took my 7 yr old to Lowes yesterday to get a bunch of paint color samples to bring home and decide which color to paint his room. As we were walking out, he looked up at me and asked, "Don't we have to pay for those?" I immediately thought of this thread and how utterly stupid two grown men were to walk around DTD with a magic bag. Even a seven yr old knows that 'feeling' when you might be stealing!! Holy Cow!

You should have tried to explain to him that you weren't through shopping for the day and that you would pay for everything at the grocery store!
