Not sure if this is the best place to post - gyft app for Disney GCs

I'm really not sure which forum is the most appropriate place to post, but I was wondering if anyone uses the gyft app to store your Disney GCs for your trips? And, if so:

1) Can you use your phone to pay at restaurants / POS at WDW?
2) Does it automatically update balances?
3) Have you had any issues / concerns?

I'll have our physical GCs too, of course, but was wondering if this would be an option. I, initially, wanted to load them to my Apple Wallet (but, couldn't for some reason - though I could load it to the apple wallet via the gyft app - go figure).

I think is a great idea, im just so super carefull with my cards i guess cause there is so much on them. Ask the giftcard thread maybe they missed this question
