I'm so glad they changed the buns! We haven't been to Casey's the past 2 trips because the wheat buns were so dry and crumbly and it used to be a must do for us. Glad we can go back next trip! Thanks for the info OP!

Feeding bread to the birds not only makes birds aggressive, it can also be dangerous for them to eat for a multitude of reasons...it can make the birds more susceptible to disease, change their natural habits, cause malnutrition, over population...and there are a host of other problems associated with it.

So go to hear. I don't eat hot dogs myself but my family loves them. Anyone else know is this is the trend now? We're so not loving the buns for hamburgers either. Hoping they go back to the old buns.

NOW ABOUT THE BUNS........we got back a few weeks ago ......we had our town car stop at the Publix store and we bought white buns......we are not regular burger or dog people.....so this was bought so we could eat the burgers in Disney...which we always loved.......so we go to our hotel and put them in the fridge.....We didnt have to use them...The buns were different......the ones before would fall apart and were disgusting......they were not wheat bread type it was all or multi grain ones......I remember asking a few years ago when they did the big change.....
So yes the buns are edible and were together in the last bite......another thing is the resorts and the cs restaurants are using Angus beef burgers and one third lbers....not bad at all.......stuck together and were very good for a change...

Thank you, thank you!! This is fantastic news! Yay! Okay, yeah I'm getting excited about buns but boy those other ones were horrible. So I will cheer for buns.

I am probably going to be the only one here to post that I hated the bun they are now using at Casey's...so much so that we won't be back for some time. My 5 yr old son who LOVES hot dogs barely ate 1/2 of it this time around. There were 6 of us and not one of us enjoyed our hot dogs at all. They were dry and hard and I eventually just took it off the bun and just ate the meat.

Those who are still leary of the buns there.

Stop at the Publix store and buy the white regular buns or the whole wheat buns...then have one in your backpack and grab a burger or hot dog and be happy like I had planned on being...
I will say that we only ate a burger twice on our almost two week trip....they were very good

Great news! We too have avoided Casey's on our last trip because of the crumbly buns. A Casey's dog and fries was always one of DH's favorite lunches - once per trip if possible...he missed it 2 trips ago and we avoided it last year - he'll be so happy to hear this!
