Not sure how I missed this: Dance Team Party @ HS on Feb 2

Sunday, Feb 2 is supposed to be our HS day. LLPP prices are at their lowest point that day, so I assumed crowds would be ok. I just saw that there is a private ticketed event from 9p-1a that day (Dance Team Party). Has anyone been at HS the day of this event in the past? Does it affect crowds? Do we know if the dance teams are allowed to enter the park prior to 9p?

Oops yes you missed the private event at HS. It will not impact daily HS crowds and no the participants for the Private party don't have overlapping access. They would need 2 tickets to be there before the private party and stay for the party. No they can't enter early on a party ticket, and daily guests can't jump in line right at 9 PM since HS will be closed and the park cleared of day guests.

Does that help address your last minute park planning minor panic situation?

Usually, they have to wait until 9pm to get in, but who knows what they have in their contract. I don't think it will make much of a difference in park capacity. They tend to be at competitions during the day.

This. we've attended the private parties there and unless they're using a park day...like every other guest...they don't enter until 9pm. It really doesn't affect anyone else. They're just keeping a section open for that group, rides and concessions.

And it's really not a lot of people anyways, but all of the people have accomplished a lot just to compete there, so they deserve some extra fun...which they are also paying for.
