I can also see the DVC customer group not being their target group. Maybe i am wrong in assuming, but I think most DVC owners are at WDW often and are repeat customers. If this was my one and only trip and had limited time, maye I would consider this IF I knew what the crowds levels were like during regular hours. If I anticipate long lines, high season, I might consider this to get everything in on this trip.

DVC people have been there and done that, have no pressure as they will be back. Maybe I am wrong. But I think its a safe crowd not get P&ss off by risking haveing paying DVC and then giving it away... I have no problem seeing how much DVC costs, nice they get a perk.

Disney can argue that DVC members are ann exclusive group, paying members and this is a special perk.. who can argue that??

At 4000 x 149 that's still $596,000 they take in. Not bad.

YUP

AND IF, I SAY IF ..... EMH shrink away and park hours no longer go in to the wee hours ..... and folks are willing to pay this ..... minus the ice cream and drinks ...... this is HALF A MILLION they were not making during EMH. It will be interesting to watch this evolve. Come Frozenland & Soarin', Avatarland, Toy Story Land and Star Wars Land ... these extra events may well be worth it to the Disney guests.

Did anyone who signed up get an E-mail confirmation right away? I signed up, but don't have any E-mail confirmation.

I wonder how many other special groups may have been offered this for free too, that we just don't know about.

I received the confirmation maybe 10min after signing up.

Hmmm. maybe I didn't get signed up in time. There was still availability, but soon after it said it was full. I just received the E-mail about 3 minutes before I signed up.

Maybe try calling member services??

Is there a main thread with details about this? I'm intrigued.

ETA: I used the search function and apparently I'm not so good at it. :/

So they needed to paper the house in hopes of creating positive buzz? Eh, hopefully it works out for them.

I'm thinking they are doing a "trial run" to see how it goes with x number of tickets. See how far they can push the limit.

Please report.. wouldnt it be awesome is seriously only a few hundred or maybe a couple thousand were there! like a ghostown

Well that would be amazing for Disney if 2,000 people came. They would make 300,000 off those people.

Hopefully only 50 actually buy this rip off money hungry ticket =]

Let's say the crowds are really small, they have 5 attractions to offer. You could be finished in an hour or so? Then what? Oh sure, you can ride again and again...and you eat ice cream...then what? Oh, I know: Spend money in the shops! ;)

Pardon me, but my understanding of the acronym ETA is that it stands for Estimated Time of Arrival. I am a bit confused by your usage. What are you referring to?

It says more than 25 attractions -- not 5.
