Onto our next question for getting to know you:

2009ers - Do you have all your ADRS made? Have you changed any?

I made all my ADRs the day after we booked (I was already within my 90 days - but fortunately had a touring itinerary and restaurants selected just in case DH decided we should go ).
Now evaluating what all we want to see and do I have had to change 1 ADR. And it required making 6 additional ADRS to make the 1 change. But now that I have finally gotten the 1 change that I wanted I can cancel all those others!

My trip was originally planned for Thanksgiving and on Labor Day I played roulette and changed to my october dates that i'm now going. The only thing that I didn't get that i wanted was FDP Mama Melrose

I have mine made but am still trying to get Fantasmic Dinner Package on Thursday, Oct. 15th. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I keep calling for Fantasmic Dinner package myself I haven't had any luck. So I'm just going to sit and stake out my seats, and let the kids have fun.

I left the toaster yesterday with luggage services for Accountingbabe to pick up this evening. It works great however be careful with poptarts, they would slip past the holder thing and would get stuck and burn, leaving a bad smell in our room not to mention the fire hazard. We just put them at an angle and they worked out fine. Just a heads up. I'm sorry I wasn't able to use the frig but I'm glad you all can use the toaster as we were just going to throw it away.
We flew home yesterday and now I'm chin deep in laundry. We had a good time but we will not be taking our kids on anymore vacations for a while meaning years from now. They fought and bickered nonstop for 4 days. We had to leave the pool one day and take a time out. I kept threatening but I needed to follow through. Once I did the last 2 days went pretty good. If I only would have followed through on day 1. Overall I'm glad we went but now my DH and I need a vacation alone and not at Disney. I'm picturing a beach in Cancun....I can see it now.

Thanks so much for passing along your toaster Ears! That was very generous of you! I had already purchased my coffeemaker when I joined this swap with the thoughts of leaving it/finding someone to give it to. SO this worked out well for me too! My english muffins thank you too!

What ages are your kids? Mine are 4 and 2 and I'm hoping they are well behaved for our trip. When we went last year we only had 1 tantrum, not bad out of 6 commando days.
This trip for us is actually in leiu of a vacation for DH & to Cancun. The in-laws agreed to take them kids for 4 days then backed out. Disney FD is a better deal anyway (and where I'd perfer to go)!

They are 6 and turned 9 when we were there, both girls and it has continued since we have been home. It must just be a phase but boy I hope it passes quickly or they may not see 7 and 10. Just kidding of course. When we went when they were just turned 5 and 7, they were perfect the entire time however we went with friends and their kids that are the same ages, so I'm sure that helped. Good luck your still on vacation right.

We need some dates filled for our fridge swap in 2009. I have been reading stories of strollers and fridges disappearing into the black hole of Pop's luggage services. To ensure everyone gets a chance to use the fridge, coffeemaker and toaster we need to keep them out of luggage services as much as possible.

Ok, I had to share this here. I have been working with a friend on her family's first trip to the World (they honeymooned there 12 years ago but stayed at a DTD hotel). We've been going over resorts, tickets, dining plans for a couple of months now and her DH just hasn't been able to pull the trigger on it. Well, working up numbers and options for her is what made me look at numbers for a trip for our family... and after a few weeks of discussing it I got my DH's OK to book. So although they KNOW they are going to WDW, have set dates (he's a school teacher) and want to go as inexpensively as possible they took about 2 months to book - while I put some numbers together, let DH hmmm and hawww for a little while then book everything INCLUDING ADR's within 24 hours of YES.

Well, they finally booked today!

I'm so excited to get to plan someone else's trip too!
