So. I was thinking that I could go ahead and start our trip report, seeing as we're only 3 days out and DF is at his brother's house. Here's our intro.

The bride: me (Jennifer, former castmember)
the groom: Kyle (also former castmember)
MOH: Raechel
BM: justin
ring bearer; Nicholas-my son, 3 1/2 yrs old.

Wedding: Thursday, June 14, 2007 @7:30pm Wedding Pavilion
Cocktail Hour: 8:30-10:15pm at GF Marina for Wishes
reception: 10:15- 1:30-am St. Augustine room c&D

So Friday night, June 8, my coworkers decide to throw me a last minute bachelorette party. (Ladies, not a good idea the night before you are travelling). DF drops me off at Wild Wing Cafe near our home and says that he'll come pick me back up when we're ready to go. I wasn't too excited about going. I knew that they would try to embarass me, and i don't really like being the center of attention. I get greated at my car with a tiara, bracelet and necklace. That sounds good, right? Wrong! The tiara was way too small and made me look like a snow queen. The necklace and bracelet, well, lets just say they weren't appropriate for children to see. Anyways. After a drink, my friends started rolling these dice that had things to do to guys in the bar. I felt akward, and couldn't really do it. I didn't feel comfortable kissing another guy. I'm getting ready to be married. A few drinks later I didn't have a problem dancing with some guys. That was harmless, right? I got bored after a while, and was ready to go home, so I called DF. Just my luck, my cell phone dies. I say goodbye to everyone, and wait for him to pick me up.
I was a bit tipsy, but we decide to go home and load up the car.
Its about 2:30 in the morning. We have the car loaded and have checked the house a million times. You can't even see out of the back of the car. Its packed full of stuff. DF heads out on the first leg of the drive. I tried to stay awake, but yeah right. I'm drunk. I pass out in the passenger seat and the next thing I know, we're half way to Orlando, and stopping to stretch. DF gets back in the car at the rest station and can't keep his eyes open. Yep, we both fell asleep in the car at a rest stop! I wake up about an hour later and decide that I can drive for a while. I make it about 2 hours, and I'm exhausted. Right before getting on the turnpike, DF takes over. We finally made it to his parents house in clermont at about 11:30am.
We unload the car, and I have to go take a nap. DF goes to his brother's house, down the street for a while. After a few hours, I'm dragged out of bed to go shopping. We go out to dinner at Red LObster. Very nice.

Sunday:
Church with the future inlaws. Then to Downtown Disney for some shopping and delivering welcome bags.

Lol I posted this in another thread, but I want to wish you congrats again! I can't imagine how excited you must be getting. Best of luck to you, and enjoy your trip!!

Monday: June 11, 2007 - Bring on the Stress

The day started out by going to the Clermont Clerk's office to get our marriage license. Its now official. There's no turning back. That didn't take very long at all and then I dropped DF off to get a pedicure. (Trust me, he needs it). While he was doing that I found a salon and decided to get my hair cut and highlighted. It turned out great, much better than before. We had a list of errands a mile long to run so we were back on the road. We stopped at the mall to pick up our engraved picture frames for our parents at Things Remembered. Then we were off to Disney to drop off some bags. Our list was Coronado Springs, Boardwalk Inn, The Fountain, Port Orleans Riverside, All-Star, Days INN Maingate East, Old Key West. Lets just say that it was an adventure.
When we got to AllStar, no one could find my maid of honor anywhere in the system. We had managers checking all fo the resorts, and nothing. She said she was at one of the all-stars, but she wasn't sure which one. I was freaking out. She was supposed to get here on Tuesday, this is Monday, and she doesn't have a reservation? Not happy! We decide to leave there, and head ot Days Inn. My coworker booked her trip through orbitz and got a deal with her flight to stay there. It took us nearly an hour to find it. It was tucked away on 192, and not looking like someplace I wanted to stay. DF and I were so frustrated by this point that we were ready to go.
On the way back to Clermont, i get a phone call from my oldest brother. They were at EPCOT for the day, and it turns out they were selected by the dream team for dream passes. They had unlimited fast passes at all of the rides for the day! How cool!
One of my other brothers (I have 3) called complaining the night before because they had mixed up his room at POR, made them wait until 8:30pm until it was ready and then had dinner ressies for the wrong time. He was so pissed off. So I called Carol and asked her opinion. The front desk manager called me to let me know that my brother was given a credit to his account. Well, bro number 2 calls and he's no longer at POR, he's been bumped up to the contemporary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm so jealous. I've never stayed there before. Not quite in our budget. Good for him and his 3 kids though.
So now DF and I keep thinking that this is our time, and we should have all of these amazing things happen to us, but we're so overwhelmed, and stressed out, and unfortunately taking it out on each other. I know that when you expect it, chances are you don't get it, but come on, we all want some pixie dust for our weddings, right? You want everything to be perfect and magical, and at this point it doesn't feel like it.

So back to the inlaws house. I cut my son's hair, and touched up DF's. Then I worked on my favors (no they're still not done), and had to color and highlight my future MIL's hair. So I was up late, and now I've got a million things to do!

Coming soon: Tuesday, June12: My MOH's bday and my next bachelorette party!

congratulations!I hope you have a wonderful and of course magical day! You are really building up to your wedding day! This is an exciting trip report!
