Some people on the fb group got accepted before and did not officially decline. Does anyone know if that is going to hurt their chances of getting in again? If so, does anyone know if there is anything they can do about it now?

I would think that if a person is accepted and allows the acceptance date to expire, then likely they will probably be eligible for acceptance again. I do not know this as a fact, but I believe this has been discussed. If they actually accepted, paid the fee, chose a date and then simply did not show up/or notify the company...well that is another matter.

Here's the issue: It is always safest, wisest and a basic professional courtesy to acknowledge an acceptance and then decline if one cannot attend. This is true for any professional situation, and is of special importance if one plans to reapply to the same company in the future.
