Not many new listings on the resale market

I haven't been constantly watching the listings, but I feel like there are not many new listings every day. On some brokers' websites, no new listings for the entire week. My feeling might be wrong because I was told by one broker that now is the buyers' market.
Is January traditionally a slow season for the resale market?

I have heard, but have no direct knowledge, that November and December tend to be the busier months as people want to unload contracts before member fees are due. That would logically lead to a relative slowing in January. Again, zero personal experience, and it could be complete you-know-what, just what I have heard.

I receive daily emails from DVC resale market and in the past week new daily listings ranged from 15 to 30 . It seemed there was a lull around New years week. Not that I’m interested in buying any more points, but like to keep up with the market news.

I watch VGF. They are WAAAAY down, like the lowest number I've ever seen, I think. But the prices are all still skyhigh.

VGF is a weird example because sales should be starting soon, but it looks like like overall WDW listing numbers are down as well.

Pricing keeps going up and supply is staying low.

I keep watching CCV incase my contract gets taken by ROFR and I am not seeing the amount avail that there was in Nov and Dec. Either people are taking them that quick when they come out or they are just not being offered. It might mean if ours gets taken we have to get a higher point contract than we wanted.

There may be another evidence: not many contracts that sent ROFR right now since the ROFR time is getting shorter.

Maybe depends on what you are looking for as i have seen lots last couple days.

I have just bought 2 contracts today so will wait for Disney's ROFR told takes about 30 days and Disney take about 10% so hoping they allow us both as there was good negotiating lol.
