Not Happy With Princess Name Badge From Laughing Store

I know others have ordered name badges from the Laughing Store and I wondered how you liked them. The letters on my name are SO close together that I hate it! It's not centered within the middle of the badge, either! Lots more room on the left than the right. I know it's trivial, but it just really bugs me and I wondered if ALL the badges have their letters SOSQUISHEDTOGETHER!! I don't know if it's all preset or if human hands set the engraver up. It's only a seven letter name so there was plenty of room to allow the letters to breathe a bit!

I guess after paying $9.50 for a badge with a $5.00 price ticket on the back, plus $3.00 shipping with a $.83 postage stamp on it....I'm annoyed that it's not good quality.

Has anyone purchased them from the parks? Are THOSE letters really close together, too? Also, it has a SAFETY PIN on the back for a clasp. Just not impressed....sigh....

Okay, I contacted the Laughing Store and told them of my concern. They IMMEDIATELY replied and said the engravers are set by human hands and they will send out a new badge ASAP at no charge. They are going to send a note to the worker to space the letters out more. SO, while I was disappointed with my initial badge, I am VERY happy with their customer service and wanted to be sure to let everyone know that!

I am glad they treated you well! We ordered 4 pins from them before our May trip. All of them were engraved perfectly!

I am pretty sure those pins have always come with a safety pin. I have an old Guest of Honor red pin from years ago that has the same safety pin on it. That's the way they are sold in the parks.

My DD's is perfect, and she has a really long name. Glad they are replacing it for you. I've had very good luck with them.

Good to hear that LaughlingPlace stands behind the product they sell, even if it was not their fault. I purchased two name tags for my little girls @ MGM on our last trip and it came out perfect.
Be sure to let them wear it on their next trip. Several CMs called my daughter by her name and she thought it was because she was Mickey's pal. She had one of the Mickey golden name tags :teeth:

I have the new gold name tag and it has the safety pin. The safety pin is very difficult to use.

The engraving is done by a machine. If the clerk does not set up the machine properly the letters will run into each other.

I have also purchased a badge from the laughingplacestore and it is very nice. Nicely spaced lettering and centered. Maybe it was just a mistake made by the ingraver. Thankfully, they are quick to fix the situation! Enjoy!

This is one I picked up for DD at DTD...
