Ok, so if I order a couple of items at brunch and do not finish, will they let me "doggy bag" or take a to-go box back to the room?

The food is normally on a plate too big to fit in the fridge. If you bring some of your own super small Tupperware or sandwich bags from home it helps.

Seems to be a debate on if you can or not. Might be according to each ships rules. But I have left dinner and been able to take things with me sometimes. Not sure if I have taken things from Palo or not.

We had a server insist we take some leftovers with us a couple cruises ago, Nov 2022. Actually, we didn't take it, he had it wrapped up and sent to our room for us. That was the first time we'd ever got leftovers

I'd think it would depend on WHAT it is. If it's something that would require re-heating that would be tough because where are you going to be able to reheat? Pizza I could see allowing out since lots of people eat cold pizza. But other things that aren't safe unless heated to a certain temp? That's a big issue.
