So we leave on Saturday for the big trip and our Disney Fairytale Wedding and I'm having a last minute "panic" that I haven't got enough spending money. I know it's probably just me being nuts, because I'm always worrying about SOMETHING, but I just thought I'd ask you guys what you think.

We have all of our tickets for ALL of the parks (Disney, Seaworld, Discovery Cove, Busch etc.) and we have the dining plan, so we don't have any tickets or real food expense other than the days when we're at the non-Disney parks. We don't have anything left to pay for the wedding stuff, all the tips and payments are taken care of. Car and all the insurance is pre-paid.

I have $1500 cash, plus I have $500 "reserve fund" in my US bank account. I also have a credit card if needed but I don't really want to use that if I don't have to. It's just my wife, my youngest daughter and I.

Tell me I'm worrying for nothing!!v:lmao:

Don't forget you will need your tips for your meals as the Dining Plan doesn't include tips. This will set you back around 15-25% of the cost of the meal (pre-tax) for table service and around 10-15% (pre-tax) for buffets. You don't say whether your daughter is on the child or adult plan, however I would allow around $15-$25 per TS meal and around $10 for buffets.

Unless you are planning to buy lots of souvenirs, $1500 should be plenty. Assuming a fortnight's holiday, that equates to around $105 per day (not including your 'reserve').

We are taking $500 for a week on the DDP for 2A, 1C.

We have CC etc and won't spend much on 'stuff'!

I think you will be fine :)

We're 2 Adults and 2 Children and the last two trips we've spent approx £1000 for the 2 weeks. That's all tips, alcoholic drinks (not included in DDP) treats, toys etc (With 2 young children we spent most of it on soft toys!)

We certainly didn't penny pinch but since having the girls we've not been shopping in Florida so this does not include clothes and all the glorious bargains to be had!

$1500 should be fine but be prepared to spend the $500 cash reserve - you know they will drag you to the till!!!:lmao:

Congrats, we are from essex and had a disney wedding! Enjoy it you dont need to worry

congratulations on your big trip! We hope to have a DFTW one day :goodvibes look forward to hearing about it :lovestruc

we're going on Saturday too ...

there is only the two of us ... but we have $200 cash, a $300 gift card, free dining and my credit card. We're only there a week but if I keep away from the malls we might get home without spending too much.

You sound like you've plenty ... have a magical wedding day :)
