Working on a scrapbook for my cousin - a trip we took together in 2006.. Finally got everything organized; all the photos printed out; etc., and so far I have finished 20 pages!! :cool1:

I think I may run into a problem soon though.. The scrapbook I have requires "Darice" refills and the only on-line sources I can find are in the UK..:confused3 I'm not quite sure how to compare these to say, Pioneer - to see if I could get away with those sheet protector refills instead.. Anyone know how I could determine that?

Thanks! :)

I was able to get all the refill pages I needed through sunshine crafts (out of Florida) and I finished the album I was working on yesterday.. :cheer2:

Now I'm on to other albums - but these are being done in 3-ring binders..:thumbsup2

Sorry, C.Ann, I don't know about the refills, but great job scrapping! You've been busy!!!

Finally found a site, but all they had in stock was 12.. It seems so odd that I can't find the refills here in the states and I'd hate to take a chance on ordering refills for something like the Pioneer scrapbooks and have them not fit.. :( Worse yet, I have 4 more of this exact same scrapbook!!

Oh well.. Hopefully I can at least get this one scrapbook finished..:thumbsup2

Hmmm....do I remember right that you don't live in an area where there are many shopping choices other than online? (I don't either, lol).

I was thinking you could take the album to a Michael's or something and see if they have anything, but if there isn't a store near you, that won't work either.

You could take the pages out of the other albums you have to finish the book you are working on. Then take one of the pages to what ever store is near by, even Target or Walmart have refills, to find pages with the same setup.

I use the Pioneer refills (12 x 12 and 8 1/2 x 11) I could mail one to you and you could see if it fits... if it does then you can order more. PM me if this would work for you.

I had trouble finding refills for a Colorbok book a few years ago. I just bought my usual and used my hole puncher to make it fit. It wasn't perfect, but it worked! Anyhow, let me know if you want me to send you a page protector........ and good job getting so much done!............P

That is a very generous offer.. You're sweet! :goodvibes

However, your idea of using a hole punch to see if some of the other refills I have would fit is an excellent one! I think I'll try that first.. And in the future, I will probably go with all Pioneer ablums (or albums that accept Pioneer refills) as they seem very easy to find..

I'm a little worried when I get to my Disney scrapbooks though.. :( I purchased two different albums in WDW (12x12) - one in 2006 and one in 2007.. Back in 2001, I also purchased two albums (the "Four Parks") and found they were nowhere near being a "true" 12x12.. I had to take the pages from one to put in the other and now the second one is sitting here empty.. :(

Does anyone know if they have gotten better about their albums being true 12x12? And if so, what kind of refills have you all bought?

I'm finished with Salem, MA - finished with New Hampshire - and now I'm into the Maine segment of our trip.. We spent more time there than anywhere - and I also took way more photos in Maine - so I figure it's going to take me at least two weeks before I'm finished.. Then it will be on to something else.. Perhaps one of my Disney trips.. :)
