Has this ever happened to anyone before?
We are planning an April Vacation (21-26) and All the moderate hotels except carribean are "full" and carribeans main pool is closed.
Our main choice was POR. We have already stayed in Carribean and Coronado.
 so bummed.
DOes anyone know if they have hold rooms back and gradually open them or could they actually be completely booked???

Thanks for any insight!

That is the week a lot of schools in the NorthEast are closed for Spring Break so that is why everything is booked. I would call every day....there is sure to be some cancellations. Good Luck!!

Yeah, I live in Mass and that is our vacation week- but not NH's.
we were thingking about easter weekend making a trip but a lot of places say that is even busier plus it is a higher priced season.

Yeah, I can understand how you feel. I wanted the Beach Club Villas for our summer 1st WDW family trip, but it isn't available. Bummer:mad: I really wanted the villas. They have the Beach Club available but dd loved the villas so we are still on the drawing board so to speak of picking/choosing a new resort. It is fun looking, if only I could actually decide and book but I better hurry up, or I'll lose more picks, the longer I take to make up my mind, LOL:rotfl2: Goodluck to you. I would keep on calling though. People cancel all the time, so you never know but I would defintely get a backup plan or pick different dates if possible. GOODLUCK:thumbsup2

Travelocity has availibility for your dates at POR.. Good luck!:goodvibes

This morning around 7:00am, all that was available was CBR, then around 10:00 am there was POR and POFQ both standard & waterview (been trying to get our standard changed to WV at POFQ for the 23rd-30th) Keep trying and put a hold on anything as soon as you find it! I'm sure you'll find what you want!:thumbsup2

We're going the same time. I was shocked at how filled the DELUXES were! I wanted a standard view room at WL - I'll be happy enough just staying there, the view wasn't really a big thing for me - and I got stuck taking courtyard - everything else was filled. I also tried Beach Club and availability there was lean.

But in the end, I'll have on my DIS button - if you see me, wave!:)

Were you trying to book by calling or online? This may have been common knowledge to others, but I just found out that there's a set number of rooms set aside for booking online and a different number set aside for booking on the phone. Meaning if you're trying to book one way and it's filled, try the other way. If they're both filled, keep trying because there's cancellations all the time. :)
