I cannot get a ressie for Tokyo Dining for Oct 7th I was able to get Tepan Edo?? Like nothing all Day
So I called
At first I was told TD no longer accepts the dining plan - I pushed it and she realized she was mistaken..
I was only able to get a 9:20 on the 6th of Oct for the entire week!!!
The CM realized something was amiss and investigated further (good detective skills) and found that the tables weren't loaded yet...

I am hoping this is true, but would switch a ressie for a week before (two week trip) If they are not going to open these tables for some reason - I would have to move fast, because I would be switching a Coral Reef and dont want to wait to long - I think it fills up, especially during free dining

SO!!! any thoughts on what is Really going on.... :goodvibes

It may be just as you were told, and the tables are just not loaded yet.

I wouldn't take that as a sign that they are closing!

Several times at the 180 or 180+10 mark I've found that some locations just don't show availability yet, but do show available a few days later.

Plenty of availability for the week we are going (mid-September). I'm considering it for lunch (on the deluxe dining plan) and I'm taking my time deciding since there is just sooo much availability. It's on the 2010 brochure as participating in DDP.

I'm sure you won't have trouble getting Tokyo Dining when it opens up, but why not go ahead and book Coral Reef as a back up? You can always cancel it when you get the TD ADR you're waiting for.
