Hi everyone! I know this is months late but I didn't do a ton of "photo-worthy" eating at WDW on my October 2018 trip. My last trip was April 2018 where I ate at a LOT of Signature restaurants as a solo. This time around, which was originally a solo trip, turned into a Mother/Daughter excursion and my mom's pretty picky. So we mostly ate QS.

Anyway, in the interest of finally getting this off of my mind, I'm just going to do two posts with everything I still think is relevant. So, no Food & Wine reviews!

If you want to check out my other Dining Report from April 2018, you can find it here!

Let's jump right into it...this post will be Disney Springs, and the next will be California Grill dinner and snacks.
-------------------------

9th and Broadway N.Y. Cheesecake from Amorette's: Lemon Curd, Blueberries and Chantilly Cream. I've tried a lot of desserts from here and this was really good. The lemon wasn't overpowering and the cheesecake was perfection.

Trio of tacos from 4R Cantina Barbacoa Food Truck @ Disney Springs: you can't tell the flavors, but I got steak, chicken, and brisket. The chicken and brisket...I'm not sure what to say, but they didn't have much flavor and they were really chewy. The best one was the steak and I'd consider going back and getting a bowl or cone of just the steak.

Habanero margarita from Dockside Margaritas: this has been my official 'first drink' at Disney for all of my past trips. It's not very spicy (sadly) but it's fresh and refreshing and Dockside has an amazing seat at the water.

And here's post 2/2...this is dinner at California Grill and various park snacks.

Spicy Margarita from California Grill: this is one of the best drinks I've had on property. Sadly I can't find it on an online menu anywhere to get ingredients, but the spicy salt rim was really good and it was just a fairly simple, strong, not sweet margarita. And actually spicy! One of the things I'm always looking for.

Goat Cheese Ravioli from California Grill: I've thought this was gimmicky for a long time but I'm really glad I tried it. The ravioli was really big, the cheese inside a good consistency, and the broth was amazing.

Double tuna crunch roll from California Grill: I love sushi and for some reason this one spoke to me more than others. The crunchy stuff on top of these was really good, the fish was super fresh, and the little marinated cabbage-stuff in the middle was slightly sweet and really complemented the other flavors well. Really good!

Pepperoni Pizza (flatbread?) from California Grill:
this was my mom's 'picky' choice but it was really good, as I knew a CA Grill pizza would be. The pepperoni was more like sausage but whatever. It wasn't spicy at all, which was bad for me, and if I were getting it myself I'd choose a different pizza. But, it was a solid choice.

OK, and here's all the other stuff!

Cookie from Animal Kingdom...the Sweets place, I think: I'm honestly only posting this because it sucked. I don't know what I was thinking but it was SO CUTE. Hard as a rock and flavorless though. Sorry, Mr. Elephant.

Hightower Rocks from Nomad Lounge: REALLY good. Blew away the other drink I've had from there (Spice Trader Classic)....just so flavorful and refreshing! So much watermelon flavor. I love Nomad Lounge and drinking outside.

Macaron from Les Halles: it was good but pretty unmemorable. I think next time I go I'll get a savory breakfast pastry instead of a sweet one.

Ice cream from Ample Hills: I think this is the peppermint on the bottom and the pretzel crunch on the top. I LOVE Ample Hills and these two flavors were really tasty. I think I've also had the Peanut Butter before, but I wanted something with crunch in it. And I'm a sucker for mint ice cream.

Peter Pan Float from Storybook Treats: I had to try it, even though I'm not a fan of floats...I'd rather have pop + ice cream separate. This was REALLY TART. And I like tart things, but combined with the Sprite it was too much. The little feather was good, though.

Anyway, that's it! Sorry so late and so short. I'll be back with more Signature dining and snack reviews after April! Thanks for reading.
