My first make of the ornament on the cover of the Stampin up Holiday Mini

I can make about 1 a day and learn lots in the process.

Heat Embossing shows up well, but cracks and falls off at the crease.

Dark ink on medium dark paper isn't contrasty enough.

Cherry Cobbler embossed on Whisper white.

I can see that on a card -- could be on a LO too
you did wonderful

That's awesome...

That would be cool to make some of those for the girls' Christmas tree at school... hmmmm, now I'm thinking on that as well as the care package themes....

love the new ornaments Linda...so pretty!!

Those are beautiful Linda!!!

My personal favorite is the royal blue one w/ the silver vines and star...
If you wouldn't mind can I have a list of what you used.. I think it's time to order supplies (the stampin' up item and that gorgeous vine)... time to find somewhere to order... I could so see doing these in R,W, and B to match the university colors...

Nancy, you want the Keepsake Ornament Bundle which is both the stamps and the thin dies to cut them with - (I tried making one with hand cut ornaments before my bundle came - NEVER again - don't even think about it.) The star was a shank button from my button box. The vines were silver coated cardstock cut with a Martha stewart vine punch. Medium blue cardstock - dark blue ink.

Thanks Linda..
Have my list and now on a purchase mission!!!!
I promise not to send DH after you.. I'll throw my mom under the bus.. it's more fun that way!!! They argue all the time about my mom's scrapping influence... LOL
