Not a good year to be a celebrity..Dominick Dunne has passed away.

I loved Dominick Dunne and his books....later his show. I will miss him. I still have his show on T. Cullen Davis taped. I met T. Cullen shortly after he was acquitted and he asked me to have dinner with him and his (latest) wife. Not the one he murdered, obviously. I was scared crapless of that man and wasn't about to get within arm's length of him. :scared1: For all I knew, he was scoping me out to be Mrs. the 4th. :lmao: I was blonde and well-endowed, and those seemed to be his main criteria. ;) I gave a curt reply, turned on my heel and got away from him as fast as I could. His eyes were as cold as ice and I had zero doubt he could off someone if he wanted. He was one scary man. When he smiled, the smile did not reach his eyes, if that makes sense.

I wish DD had written a book on T. Cullen, but he didn't. So I'll just have to save that Power, Privilege and Justice episode forever, I suppose. :sad1:

I liked Dominick Dunne. He always shone a light on injustice. I'm sorry to hear he's passed on.

I love Dominick Dunne. A great man. I admire people like him and John Walsh who've suffered terrible personal tragedies and go on to educate the public about the justice system.

This is so sad. I loved all of his books.

What? :scared1: Oh no! I love his books and watching him on Court TV.

How sad, Ted Kennedy died too. :littleangel:

I loved the book but hated the movie.

In general that's always the case with me, I read the book, love it, then find the movie to be lacking. Examples for me were The Shining, 'Salems Lot, The Generals Daughter (although I always love John Travolta), Amityville Horror, etc.
