Not a food review - a review of server's habits

My husband and I just returned from our trip to WDW on June 15. I witnessed something that was a bit disturbing at both Sanaa and Boma. The servers were resetting a table for the next party, and they placed the silverware for the table on the seat of a chair someone had just occupied. There was nothing on the chair as a barrier - a napkin or a tray - they just set it on the seat. Whoa! As a nurse, with my bottle of Purell in my pocket, this is just a little gross. I started watching for this practice at other restaurants did see plenty of serving trays - so it's just some server's bad habit, not all. What is the best department to contact to report what I saw?

If it was truly that offensive to you, you should have asked for a manager right then & there. Personally I don't have a problem with it - laying a utensil on a chair is hardly something I'd be concerned about. Are people sitting naked on restaurant chairs doing inappropriate bodily functions?? I think not :rotfl:

I worked in the industry for 10 years. Trust me, silverware on the chair is the least of your worries.

OMG..just got home from my waitressing job and you are dead on with that statement!! Our trash cans at work are magnetic so they can catch the silverware that falls in  A seat is the last of your worries!!!
