Hi all, I was wondering has anyone done this breakfast, is it as good as others, or are others better? I didnt want to fight for Cindy's so I just booked this one and now that Im checking reviews I havent seen many positive! Your input would be greatly appreciated

We went to this breakfast in November and enjoyed it! After reading the reviews, I was nervous too, but we were pleasantly surprised! princess: We arrived at the podium and waited no more than 5 minutes. I loved how it looked inside, it reminded us of a restaurant we went to in Vienna. The food was good, not anything so special (it's breakfast), but good. The cinnamon buns were nice and warm and tasty too! It was served family style and we had no problem getting refills of anything. Nothing was cold or hard like we had read. The service was great and the Princesses were really nice, especially Aurora and Mulan. It really was a great experience. My Dd's 6 & 15 months LOVED it!! I would definitely do it again.

We also enjoyed this meal. I would definately do it again to see the princesses. We had fresh fruit, cinnamon rolls, scrambled eggs, potato casserole, sausage bacon, biscuits and juice. They bring the fruit juice and rolls first with juices. The rest comes out in a skillet and you serve yourself from it. They will bring you more of anything you want. It is typical breakfast type food. Everyones tastes are different. I think you should try it and make up your own mind. One persons taste may not be the same as yours. I think you will be pleasantly surprised. The Princesses are definately worth it.

This Princess Breakfast was our most magical moment. We went to the first seating and asked if DD could be the Princess of the Day. They had not picked one so they gave her the honor. The food was really pretty good. We are not usually big breakfast eaters. We loved the little muffins as well as the potatoes. We had a ton of interaction with the Princesses (more so I am sure because of dd being POD). It was also dd's b-day so they gave her free of charge a birthday troll cookie to paint and the manager even gave her a pin off her own lanyard. The food was both hot and plentiful.

We enjoyed our experience with this princess breakfast. We waiting a few minutes to be seated and right away they were coming out with the pastries and fruit. Soon there after the princesses were coming out. We happened to have our seats right by the entrance of where the princess come out.

The food was wonderful. In fact we asked for seconds because the kids kept saying how good the food. :goodvibes

My "princess" loved this breakfast. The food was very good and the interaction was great. My DD was three at the time and dressed like Snow White, so that got her attention but I noticed that the interaction was the same whether or not the girls were dressed up. (Snow White did fawn over her a little more though :hyper:) I have not yet done CRT, I am doing it this time and am very nervous that it won't live up to Norway which my daughter still talks about.

Have a great vacation!!

2006 Back to Poly!!!

Our group of 5 adults loved it! Food was decent, interaction was great, service was great. And it beats the heck out of standing in line in the park to see the princesses!!

The "Princess of the Day" gets to help open the castle door for the first seating with a wave of the magical wand. They put a sparkling cape and hat on on my dd and handed her the wand. All the kids had to shout something out and the doors swung open. Then Sleeping Beauty swept out with some of the wait staff. She gave dd a hug and took her by the hand leading her to the "Princess" throne. It is a table with 3 normal chairs and one that looks like a throne. She was given a POD certificate and as each Princess came to our table they signed it. Belle even saw how emotional I was (after all the months of planning it was a moment that I could have only dreamed of) and she went and made up a Queen of the Day certificate for me which all of the princesses signed.

I had read about POD on these boards so while dh distracted dd I went to the podium and just asked if they had a POD yet. The woman was very nice and said that they hadn't and would my dd like to do it? Of course I could barely breath and whispered "YES!" :goodvibes Dd still can't believe her good luck that they "picked" her on her birthday, of course I will never tell.

THE WORST SERVICE WE HAVE HAD IN ALL OF WDW!!! We go for 3-4 weeks per year. The past 2 years (3 times) we had terrible service. The princesses are rushed through (they have to do that whole room in only 5 minutes more that the princesses at the castle), sign an autograph and quick picture....very little interaction. we are not doing in when we go down in august.

We were shopping for a stroller for dd yesterday and we mentioned to the person that was helping us that we were going to DW in the fall . She said they went a few weeks ago. I asked her if they did any character dining. She said the worst for them was CRT (said everyone was rushing through, food was ok, and little interaction with the characters). Best was the breakfast at Norway. She said they enjoyed it so much that they tried (and succeeded) in getting another PS for lunch the next day. So everyone has different experiences and you won't know what yours will be until you try it!

We went in early June and it was great. Each of the princesses spent a good 5 minutes at our table (3 adults), I can only imagine how much time they spent with tables with kids. We were at one of the first seatings and the service was very good (our drinks were never below half full). The food was excellent better than any other character breakfasts we ate at during the trip. It was remarkablely quiet (I guess all the little ones were too in awe). We would definitely do it again.

I love this breakfast! We have done it twice so far. The food is delicious, especially the potatos. :goodvibes In my experience the princesses spent more time at our table in Norway than they do at CRT. One of the times we went there Mulan kept coming back to our table because she thought DD was so cute. DD was only 8 months at the time but it really made my day. Both times we ate there at least one of the princesses remembered my daughters name and would say "Hi Anya", or something like that when they passed our tables again. This has never happened to us at CRT, once the characters pass by our table that is the last we interact with them. Not that that makes CRT bad to me, I love that one too :) I do prefer Norway's food better though.

We've been twice and have loved it both times! To each his or her own but I truly don't know what all of the gripes about the food are. We also like gourmet fare and often plan our trips around food ( ;) ) but this is breakfast people! The food is perfectly fine. And the cinnamon rolls are better than fine - they are awesome!

I do love CRT for the castle alone, but PSB has its own charm. The staff has always been pleasant and fun to talk to and, in our experience, very eager to please. The princesses have consistently spent more time with our girls at this breakfast than CRT. In fact, we saw Jasmine several hours later in front of Morroco doing meet & greets and she remembered our girls from breakfast (and this was after our girls had changed out of their costumes into regular clothes.) I was truly impressed.

Enjoy! It is Disney and it is magical!!!
