We will be taking a Scandanavian coastal cruise this Summer, most of our time will be in Norway, very excited. We are flying from Boston to Copenhagen, with an hour layover, then on to Bergen, Norway. Two specific questions coming from the US for you. Can I place my medicine (some prescription, some over the counter) in pill containers (the ones that are plastic labeled Mon, Tues), or is it a very strict rule that all medicines are in their own pharmacy containers? Secondly, since our layover is so quick, an hour and 15 minutes into Copenhagen, then on to Bergen, will that be easy? And more importantly, have you had any checked luggage problems after landing in Bergen? Taking Scandinavian Airlines from Bos-CPH-BGO, second leg CanadairAir. Thanks and any other tips are so welcome!

I can't answer any questions about Copenhagen, but I just came back from Norway. We went through Amsterdam. There were two of us that took our pills out of the original bottles into a pill organizer. We didn't have any trouble with it.

Have a great time. We traveled up the west coast and then went on to Oslo. The west coast was beautiful. Bergen was my least favorite stop (cityscape vs. countryside); though we had a delicious dinner at Bryggeloftet & Stuene on the wharf.

1 hr 15 is for normal people ok- CPH is not huge and super nice. but if you have mobility issues, knee problems etc... maybe order wheelchair services to come pick you up. many times they will use a golf cart thingy. as when traveling anytime take the true essentials ( medicine etc) 2 changes of clothes in carryone.

Thanks, very helpful. Any other tips?
