Has anyone done the Character Breakfast at Norway in EPCOT? If so, please post your experience. DW wants to try it as something different this time. Thanks.

Hi John
We went to the princess storybook breakfast in december. The characters there were Jasmine, Belle, Sleeping beauty, Mulan, Snow White and Mary Poppins. Our DD4 and DD2 had the best time! My DD2 had been so scared of all the other characters all week we thought we were in for more tears but she loved all the attention the princesses gave her. When you are seated on the table is fresh fruit and pasty. Then the server came and took our drink order. Then the family style breakfast came out. I think it was potatoes (very yummy), waffles, bacon, sausage and I really can't remember anything else( I was to busy watching my girls light up anytime the princesses came around) but I think there was more. It was a quick breakfast. I think we were out of there in about 35 minutes (perfect for kids). For us it was a wonderful experience.

We were just there on New Year's Day. It was cute for the kids, the princesses spent as much or as little time with you as you wanted. The food was good but I must say, I think the whole "skillet" thing is a bit weird. We were a group of 6 and it seemed like there wouldn't be enough for everyone so we all just took little bits. When our waiter asked us what we wanted more of, we said eggs and he brought out a HUGE skillet of just eggs (too much - it went to waste). Why can't they just ask you what you want and save themselves from throwing out all that food? But, that's just my own little bugaboo! The food was good (esp. the potatoes), and we had a very nice time. Cute place.

How about this place for 2 adults who are kids at heart.
I want to go here.. I want to see Princesses. I promise I wont hog them. Will we feel out of place?

I don't think you'll feel out of place at all. Not anymore than you'd feel out of place anywhere in WDW. Disney is for everyone, not just kids or those with kids in tow. Just do remember there will be many children there and you won't have a romantic adult dining experience. But just seeing the happiness on the children's faces should be a wonderful experience.

We were there on Thanksgiving morning and my daughters enjoyed the experience. We were there for the first seating at 8:30 and were seated in the first section of tables. Five princess were there; Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Belle, Mulan, and Jasime. They came out a door in our room spaced about 5 minutes apart. They seemed to interact nicely with our family then move on. My daughters really enjoyed it and we are glad we went.

As far as the food goes.... well.... what can I say?? I didn't have high expectations and they met them. They have fruit and danishes out when you sit down. Not very much. Because my girls were hungry I didn't get any. I know I could have asked for more (and should have) but the princesses were coming around and the other breakfast food arrived. The skillet came with this mound of food (eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage and waffles). We weren't too impressed. It was food. The waffles were small, cold and hard. My DH is a vegaterian so having everything lumped together didn't thrill him. We did get a second serving on eggs, and like someone else mentioned, it was huge and half was wasted. It seemed like everything was sitting in that skillet for a while before we got it. The refill of eggs seemed much fresher and better.

Would we go again??? If my daughter wanted to see princess on the next trip and we had the money to spend..... Sure!!! (and be ready for "just OK food")

Topcat011, I was really suprised how many groups of people were there without children (or only one in a large group)!! You will not feel out of place

Thanks everyone. Sounds like you guys all had a great time. We just tried to book, but have to wait one more day. We are 91 days out  Can't wait. The kids should like this one from your responses. Thanks again!

John
