I have ants!!!I have never in my live had ants before and this is awful!

Go to your local hardware store and buy some Terro Ant Killer. Follow the directions and your ants will be gone. We have had an ant problem a few times and this stuff works really, really well. Best of all, the treatment seems to keep them away for well over a year.

I just returned from a quickie trip to WDW for the Princess half marathon. It was billed as a race for women only. Men could run, but they couldn't win any prizes. Plus, the t-shirt and goody bag stuff was all for women. They also refused to let men in the fastest start corral. I checked the results and less than 200 of nearly 7000 participants were listed as male. What was really funny was that many of the guys that did run were dressed as Disney princesses. I'm not sure what sex they checked when they registered, but I did spy a few "crossdressers" in the first corral. Some of the costumes were hilarious. I didn't take my camera, but if i can find a few I will post them.

IKWYM! The exchange rate has pushed up the cost of this cruise for us by about £2500 (currently $3450) since we booked it - and it was expensive to start with... :sad2:

The exchange rate isn't good for us, so no point in paying off anything yet...

We had a terrible problem with ants when we moved in here. I used Terro too until it seemed like they built up a resistance to it. I guess that's why they stick around. If that doesn't work try equal parts of yeast, molasses, and sugar. That's what finally ended it for us and my DH sprays around the perimeter of the house every couple of months.

Jeanneg - great news on the marathon!

Hi all, we are back from WDW. Had a great time with all the drill team girls although at times challenging with 19 girls! Good news is they won the National Drill Team Championship and our now the National Champions for the small high school division. The girls were thrilled.

Met up with my friend Shari Thursday night and we went and saw Illuminations.

Went to Hollywood Studios on Friday. Enjoyed the American Idol Experience and of course, Toy Story Mania.

Went to Magic Kingdom on Sunday. Thought it interesting that they no longer issue wristbands for extra magic hours and you just show your KTTW card instead. Guess they are cutting costs.

Went to Downtown Disney on Monday, then out to dinner with friends Ashley and Karen from England Monday evening. We met them on a Disney Cruise!

The one thing I noticed is all the stuff they have on sale (even in the parks). All the toys are 35% off, jewelry, timepieces and plush 25% off. There were some great deals. I didn't buy much, saving my money as much as possible.

Although, did get our annual passes with the DVC discount. Ouch! That took a large sum of money, but now we are good for a year.

Excited to see the names of the two new ships too!

Okay, work to do, it's Girl Scout Cookie Time!

Hi gang,

I just dropped in to say that we finally received our polo shirts and magnet today so I thought I would share a few photos with you.

This is the magnet

The only sting in the tail was that we did get caught for VAT - £3.90 which isn't so bad - and for the Royal Mail 'handling charge' - £8 which is outrageous  We only paid $9.50 to get it across the Atlantic.

Scott: No TOT for us this year. We moved our May cruise (the one you previously cancelled) to October due to Nancy's health issues. We will set sail the day of the race. I'll miss seeing everyone and playing mini-golf this year. You'll have to let me know how it goes......I liked the insane asylum format that they did in year 1 much better than last year's p.c. version!
