Hi all ... I ordered myself a t-shirt and magnet off the cafe press site. I will post a picture when they come in ... Wanted to see what they would look like and if they would accept the logo or not. Will let you all know!

I don't think so Claire because the value is so low, but if you use the standard shipping option at Café Press it includes all duties and taxes anyway - although on an order of 2 golf shirts it is working out at £11 dearer than economy delivery. I'm not sure if that would include the 'hostage' fee that ParcelForce charge these days though.

If you have a problem with Cafe Press then you can order from Disney online. That's where I got my shirt.

It's freezing here......10 degrees!

Yesterday morning it was -21ºF actually and a windchill of -40ºF. (that would be -30ºC and -42ºC). That was on top of 4" of snow.
Today is to be much better.

30º at WDW. Not much magic when it is that chilly.

Got all of the arrangements made for our March cruise.
After that cruise it will probably be 2011. But then as I said before.....never say never. And then, we may cheat on the mouse too.

Hope the weekend treats everyone well and Lynn and Scott makes it back to the pups in good shape.

You learn to live with it. Doesn't happen all the time.
The one time we went to Disney at christmas, it was about that temperature here. When we got to the world, we thought the weather was fine(i think it was in the 50's), but everyone around us had coats and gloves one.

I'll let you know if they charge me any duty. Being Canadian, I hate getting dinged at the border as well. First they get you on the exchange, than at the border!

You'll be fine with just a magnet as that will probably come in a Jiffy bag. I've had CDs sent over from the US in the post and never paid duty on them.

To be fair to Parcelforce it probably is only when they get charged that they charge you but it is the 'administration fee' they charge on top that gets me.

Import duty thresholds into the UK have been raised recently, it used to be anything over £18 but its now £105 I believe .... about the only fair change to taxes recently when you consider all the stealth taxes we're suffering

I've been stung a few times before this change, it IS the admin charge that is stupid, I think out of a £20 fee only £8 was the tax on mine.
