I agree with Scottishwee35...what a beautiful logo...ciricle with viking etc

Did I see that we can order tshirts with the logo or was that a special personal order? I'd love to order some for our 'cruisers'.

Any idea on what the DCL hotel/transfers might be pre- and post-cruise?

I ordered the shirt from Disney on line.

You can call DCL and they will tell you the cost of the transfers and the hotels that they are using. I have already booked the Park Plaza County Hall on my own at a much cheaper rate than DCL's rate.

Hi guys....just got back from WDW where I also did the marathon (my second full). Saturday, during the half, I worked at the water stops and saw Scott. Then Sunday I did my first 9 miles with Lynn. I actually thought we'd do the whole thing together as we were really in a grove but then another friend came over and slowed us down a bit. I was feeing good so I just continued at my original pace. I ended up giving myself a huge cushion which was good because I really needed it later. Things got a little ugly after 20 miles and I was happy I could take it a little easier because of the faster pace earlier. I finished at 6:47 which is 6 minutes faster than last year so I was very pleased. I saw Lynn in the finishers area with her medal and we chatted very briefly, but my husband (who was also doing the full) had to drop out for medical issues and I needed to get him back to the room rather quickly.
Scott looked like he hadn't even exerted himself at all, so going Goofy was a good choice for him. Like Lynn, I will also sign up for next year's half. The marathon itself is fun, but you can't do it without training and I am not willing to make the commitment to train so intensely 3 years in a row.

Good job! Hope your dh is ok.

I'm thinking WAY ahead and was wondering if anyone is interested in a group brunch, if possible, at Palos?

Oh! Me! Me! I want to do this. Put Steve and me on the list.

Wow! I've been so busy that it took me over an hour to catch up on all the posts. So sorry to see a number of you leaving the cruise. And welcome to all the new people that have joined.

All the talk of DLP sure has me thinking. We are still trying to figure out what to do right after the cruise. Maybe this could be a good option, since we won't be going to WDW that year. We could fly into London the day before the cruise and stay in Dover. Then take the EuroStar after the cruise to DLP for 2 or 3 nights and fly out of Paris. I sure can't make up my mind! We've had so many suggestions that I am getting totally confused. One of my clients from the UK even mentioned taking a flight from Heathrow to Edinburgh for a couple days. :confused3

If you do a group brunch then that is the only brunch you are allowed to have. When the 90 days comes you must make a ressie for Palos yourself because we would not find out if we get the private dining room until about 3 weeks before the cruise. Everyone think about it and then I will start a list of ones that are interested. The private room will only hold 14. We can try and get it on another day too to allow others to have a group brunch. If you decide that you are interested then I will start a list so let me know how many in your party.

I will pass on the Palo brunch. For some reason, it's just not one of our favorite things. Now, dinner, on the other hand........

My daughter and I will do brunch together, however, if there are any plans for a group dinner, I would love to get in on it, as I don't really like the idea of eating alone, and my daughter wouldn't like that fancy a dinner.

Regarding the t-shirts, I have set up a site on cafe press (see first post). If people want, I can start adding to the store. I've never done this before, so if anyone has any tips, please let me know or pm me. Thanks.

What is it listed under? Your name, the cruise, or something else? I will put it on the 1st page.

Hello everyone!!! :wave2: Hope you are keeping well in these uncertain times... :grouphug:

It's horribly cold here today so I'm opting to stay indoors and do all my household chores for the week - not my idea of fun but I get a certain satisfaction out of seeing the place clean and sparkling... I've spent most of my morning writing a pre-trip report for our Easter WDW vacation!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Here's a link for those of you who'd like to check out our eggciting plans... :rolleyes1

Have a great day and I'll catch up properly later... :thumbsup2

I love Palo anything. :lmao:

It's freezing here today. High of 27, low tonight of 9 and I won't even get into the wind chills. I am so ready for spring.:cloud9:

Well it warmed up a bit here. It is 9. It was 3 a few hours ago.

Scott and Lynn - I think you picked a realllyyyy good week to be at WDW!!

It is supposed to get colder tonight. :cold:

Debbie
