Oh, we have just been talking about this today. John really is not impressed with Disney's pricing. He asked if they might reduce prices, but I said I doubt it, though perhaps for the lower catagories. The cost keeps rising with the dollar rate getting worse for us.

He was working out that we could have a month or so in Orlando for the same price as 12 days on this cruise. It also cuts out anything else for 2010.

I can only pray that the costs will go down....I'm getting to know some amazing people & that'll make it soooooooo much harder to go elsewhere.

Decided to play.....used someone else's words...

Not that we can do it, but I just did a pricing, and we could do BOTH the EB and WB Transatlantics for about the same price as this cruise. Crazy!

Oh, yes, I've run up those numbers. My set up (cat 11EB, cat 7WB w/two people) would come to $120 per night for my share vs. $283 per night on the Baltic (3 in a Cat 10). Makes you realize what a value the TAs are and what a premium the Baltic is.

I can only pray that the costs will go down....I'm getting to know some amazing people & that'll make it soooooooo much harder to go elsewhere.

So true. :grouphug:

Wow! Lots to read when you are away for a couple of days.

Been really busy with the kids/school/football, etc. but just wanted to make sure I wished you all a
Happy Halloween

Me too - she's a darling! :lovestruc BUT those DCL prices are looking increasingly high as our £ weakens so I know where she's coming from... :sad2:

Welcome back Karen! I sure missed you. You better not back out of this cruise! ;)

We will probably leave 2 days before the cruise - wife wants to see Harry Potter...:rotfl: only reason she wants to visit England is to go on the Harry Potter tour....

I'd only go on a Harry Potter tour if they included a trip to the Leaky Cauldron! :stir: :drinking1

Next task... deck map!!
Enjoy
Debbie

Hello to you too, Eva! :flower3: Don't worry, Richard's too excited about this trip for us to back out... :goodvibes

Let me know what you find out.

Price for the Maison Dieu B&B in Dover is 60 pounds a night for a Twin ensuite room ... Two twin beds with a private bath and breakfast. Can't book it until next year. Reviews were great on the net, and from the email I got, the owners seem quite nice. It is a 5 minute cab ride from the port! I'm pretty sure that is what I'm going to do!

How many rooms sounds like a great option?

Any links for the place

I asked for 2 or 3 nights. It is 60 pounds a night. There is a link on the websight to this b&b in particular, plus to the sight where i found this place. This place only has 7 rooms. That's why I am going to book early. Once I've booked my flight, I'm going to email them and let them know what dates I want, either June 9-12, for 3 nights or June 10-12 for 2 nights. If I do the 3 nights, I might make a side trip to Canterbury. I might even look into renting a car?

WOW! You go away for a few days & you have a LOT of reading to do! As my Dear nephew says "Oh no not again! We have to hear the dis board says this & the dis board says that!"

I Love this group! I hope we don't have to lose anyone, but money talks!

We're in Philadelphia for the weekend! Not a good time to be here if you're not a Philly fan! :scared1: We're not. 2 MILLION people came to the city today for the parade! We had no choice we're here on business. The good thing was nobody was at Independence Hall & The Liberty Bell (1st time for the niece to see the bell).

Okay, now if I can remember all the things I wat to comment on:

1. Vigil - Harry Potter! Wow that could be fun!

2. Monica - I love your designs! They're great!

3. MJ Girl - Logo looks great! I see everyone is starting to add it to their signature. I got to do that. I vote to see what Cafe Press will do with it.

4. Debbie-Thanks for all your hard work on the spreadsheets!

Sue
