Outside company - NCL didn't offer anything w/ the camp & the costs were :scared1: (for here and St Petersburg).

Doing tours w/ spb tours in both countries - I'll let you know what I think of them when I get back. I've had a good experience w/ them so far (dealing w/ Viktoria) & have heard good things about them too.

It says the min. group size is 20. Is that how many you have in your group or will they do anything smaller than that? Just noticed that was only on one of the tours.

Not sure how many of us are doing the "main" part of the tour together (I joined when there was a party of 10...made it 12). I know that there are only 6 of us (plus driver) doing the camp part. Seems like they will work with you.

That's good to know. More than likely it would just be the four of us, so I don't need something that is for a large group, more of a personal tour.

I got a quote of $400 for transfers from Heathrow to London to Dover and back to Heathrow. There are 5 of us so we will have a mini van. Does anyone think I can find it cheaper?

Gydell, I don't know if you can get it cheaper but if it is private transportation, then I think it would be hassle free. I was hoping that as we get closer to the time of the cruise we might be able to get a charter from Dover to London inexpensively for a group of us.

I'm thinking of going w/ these people....http://www.britishairportcars.co.uk/index1.asp (less than the $80pp /each way transfer cost w/ NCL). For 4 people w/ estate car it's about $56pp US

There was another company that I liked but I can't remember the name of it - saved on the favorites on the home computer....will try to find it tonight for you.

Ours will be about $80 per person for the mutli-trip so I think I will go with them.

What was involved in getting your Russian visa?

What was involved in getting your Russian visa?

They do blanket visas so all you need to do is give them some info from the main page of your passport & that's it. There is no additional cost for the visa (included in tour price).

Good Morning Cruisers!

You guys are doing Macchu Pichu (or however it's spelled), right?

Yes, we are going with Adventures by Disney.

Ugly day here, rain, cold and wind. Hope everyone has a great day!

Lynn, I hope you have a good time with them. We're doing Viva Italia with ABD next month.

I think we will, my only thoughts are that it will be too Disney and we will not be able to interact as much as I usually do with the local folks. (Had some other thoughts I edited/deleted. ) We will see. I would rather wake up dry beneath the African Sky just me and my Swiss Army knife.

My parents did ABD last year and from their description it doesn't sound too Disney. There's a few little kitschy things, but for the most part it's tour, tour, tour.
