Hi gang,

I just dropped in to say that we finally received our polo shirts and magnet today so I thought I would share a few photos with you.

This is a large.

This is the magnet

The only sting in the tail was that we did get caught for VAT - £3.90 which isn't so bad - and for the Royal Mail 'handling charge' - £8 which is outrageous  We only paid $9.50 to get it across the Atlantic.

Look great but royal mail rip off price....:sad2:

I order one tee shirt from printvista.co.uk as special offer for 4 pounds including post too...

Good Evening Folks!

I have been MIA since last Tuesday. On Wednesday, I spent the day in meetings in Denver and Greeley. Word came down that we needed to get out and start “canvassing”, so, instead of getting to spend time preparing for the class I have to teach next week, I spent Thurs and Fri “address canvassing” in Cheyenne. I did put in about 3-4 miles each day! Between that and dealing with the 2 crew I am currently supervising (until my class – then I will have 15 to supervise!), I did not have much time for anything – the dogs did not even get walked – until today.

Beautiful day here – watered the trees and shrubs – I am sure the nice weather will not stay, we will probably get more snow shortly – just not in the forecast for the next week!

Scott: No TOT for us this year. We moved our May cruise (the one you previously cancelled) to October due to Nancy's health issues. We will set sail the day of the race. I'll miss seeing everyone and playing mini-golf this year. You'll have to let me know how it goes......I liked the insane asylum format that they did in year 1 much better than last year's p.c. version!

Several of the regular group have decided to go for Race for the Taste instead, I think Robert was one of those, so there may not be Mini Golf this year. We go that time of year anyway, Scott's birthday is at the end of October. I also like the theme of the first year better than the second - but I have heard others who liked last year better. Have fun on the cruise!

Hope the exchange rate gets better for those of you in UK, we would really miss you if you had to cancel!

Gydel - sorry to hear about your computer - could your ants have anything to do with that bug on your signature???

Thank you for posting the pictures ... I wanted to post mine as well, but still looking for a new camera! The golf shirts look nice!

Sounds like you've been busy!

I thought the ants were paying me back for using the bug, at least they are gone now!

RE Cameras, we really like the Olympus UZ series, a point and shoot with a great lense. We are waiting for the Olympus SP-590UZ... we have had three of this style, Lynn broke the first one with a Fall at DLP, when we were on our way to Tanzania. Worth a look

Thanks for the tip. I recently owned a Sony, and have all the memory cards. I'm tempted to buy another Sony, just to save money, but will look into the Olympus as well. Someone on my last cruise had one, and their photos looked great!

I cannot remember the names of the (I think 3) hotels in London that Disney will provide transportation from the airport and to the port. :confused3
Will someone please refresh my memory? Even though we have our reservation at Park Plaza County Hall, I want to look at all of my choices.

Thanks,

Thanks,

I think the other 2 are Grosvenor House Marriott and the Renaissance Chancery Court. Park Plaza is the cheapest of the DCL hotels. You can call DCL to make sure.

Thanks!!! Now off to do a little research.

What did you find out?

I was on Cruisecritic and saw a thread for our cruise. I tried to post and tell the few over there to come over here and chat but it wouldn't let me post.:confused3

What did you find out?

I contacted DCL and you were correct with the London hotels. I liked Grosvenor and Renaissance Chancery Court better than Park Plaza County Hall. My favorite is Renaissance Chancery Court. It will be 60 pounds (I have know idea how to make the pound sign! :) ) more a night than Park Plaza and not much more than Grosvenor. I contaced them today and I am waiting for a reply as to when I can get a confirmation on a reservation.

I have checked out numerous books and DVDs from the library and am reading THE ROUGH GUIDE TO SCANDINAVIA right now. It will be nice once we know what the excursions will be.

I'm working on our pre and post-cruise plans. Possibly 3 days or so before the cruise in London and then 2 1/2 days in DLP after the cruise.

Hi Gydell and everyone...

We cancel the Batlic last weekend which we were so looking forward to....

As it is exchange rates are very poor at the moment...

We changed it to Dover to Barcelona which we can afford it...

I still pop in and chat with you okay...
