a trip to DLP as an extra ..... I would have to agree that it might not be quite up to the standard you are used to at WDW etc ;) We LOVED it there, went for our honeymoon, new year, christmas, every opportunity. But since we managed a fortnight in WDW (which I hoped was the first trip of many tho we haven't managed it since), our return trips to DLP have lacked a certain something. We find it pricey, not so polite, you don't get the cast members falling over themselves to make it special etc. BUT it is Disney and we do go to get our fix when we can :)

As for travelling you can get the Eurostar from Ashford direct to the gates of the park - and I mean within minutes of the parks themselves. If you book into a Disney hotel your bagage goes straight from the train to the hotel and you go straight to the park :) You can also go direct to DLP from London .....

Thanks!

Gydell, if you are thinking of taking Eurostar direct from Ashford in Kent to DLP, book early as it is popular. I tried to book a coupole of years ago to go and join our daughter there, and there were now seats left. I think you can change trains - Paris probably.

Direct is best by a long shot so if thats what you're after make sure you get booking as soon as its available. If you have to change you can do so at Lille or Paris so there are lots of options. However you would then loose the benefits of the luggage transers etc .....

Good Morning Everybody!:sunny:
It's the weekend.:yay:
Woke up this morning looking for that 3-6 " of snow that was promised. Blah! None! Did get my tub time in. Just a bit windy.

Lynn & Scott, good luck on the marathons. Looks like a good morning for it.
Keep us informed.

In ten weeks, we leave on the Magic for our spring break cruise.
Should be a good trip. It will definitely be different for us.

Hi everyone ... Just got back from seeing Benjamin Buttons. Arrived at the theatre with clear roads and no snow. When we exitted the theatre 2 and a half hours later, blizzard with white outs. Took a half hour to get to the show and over an hour to get home. How many days till spring? I envy you folks in the south!

ETA .... Great movie by the way! Brad Pitt never looked better. If you're a crier, be sure to bring kleenex!

Happy Sunday! Giving us a little *bump*...

We saw Benjamin Buttons yesterday too. It was a good movie. Gran Torino (I don't even like Clint Eastwood) and Seven Pounds are also very good!

Hope Scptt and Lynn did good in their races.
