Hi all.
We are a family of 4 Aussies doing this cruise (although I notice not much of the talk is about this cruise!) Nice to see everyone is so friendly.

We have done one DCL 3 day bahamas cruise before, and are so excited about this one.

We were thinking of staying the night before in Canterbury as others have mentioned it is nicer than Dover. Also trying to get self contained accom in London, but will probably head over to France for a week or so before heading back to London.

Welcome to the cruise! At this point, we are just chatting, getting to know each other, there was info on cruise and ports of call earlier in the thread, and I imagine there will be more as we get closer and when Disney announces the shore excursions.

Hello!

we're still hoping to make this cruise .... I work in Canterbury and its a lovely historic city, well worth a stop over I would think and probably nicer/ easier to get a flavour of than Dover. Though Dover Castle is a must do if you have the time.

Since we are on DVC points, we are paid off, but a drink or two would be nice if someone wins the lottery!

We did not get the snow forecast for last night, but it is cold and windy here so far today, hopefully it will warm up a bit so I can get the dogs out for their walk before they go to "puppy camp" (kennel) later today. We will be off tomorrow for WDW, Tower of Terror 13K Race, and Scott's extended birthday celebration!

I read that article too. The shore excursions they mentioned sound pretty awesome, especially if you have kids. I can't wait to see what they offer, especially the shore excursions geared toward adults.

I am talking 100 million powerball size. Not the 1 million measly prizes that don't let you quit your job. LOL.

One more thing to think about. My Doctor mentioned that they recommend Hep A/B shots for visiting Russia. We got ours for our Mexican cruise last year and they are good for life. She also recommended that you make sure you are up-to-date on your tetanus shot!

Could someone please direct me to the area that shows everyone that is going on this trip? I'm not sure where to look and I remember in the original thread thee was an area that listed who was sailing, dining time, etc.
I am finally going to start working on my FEs!

I have done some updating on the list. Tonight I sent out PM's to those we have not heard from in a while, inviting them to post or let me know if they are not going.

So, as of right now we have:

55 cabins
112 Adults
41 children

I anticipate that this will change this week.

And I am not so patiently waiting to see those excursions come out!
