Northeast Ohio Memorial (Sun)Day picnic is on for May 25, 2008

Mike and I had a wonderful time and hope everyone did as well and can't wait til next years meet!!

John and Sue thank you so much for opening your home to all of us disney Folks;)

Sue thank you for taking this bride on also I can't wait to be able to work with you also!1

Thanks everyone who made this year's picnic another success. Sue, Sarah, and I had a great time seeing friends both old and new and having the opportunity to catch up. I probably ate enough yesterday to carry me through to June. For those of you who weren't able to attend due to illness, I hope you are feeling better soon. Hopefully you will be able to come next year. Some of us disappeared for a while to go see Brandywine Falls, a 60 foot high waterfall that is about 5 miles from our house. Perhaps next year we'll organize an afternoon trip for a bigger group to go see one of nature's wonders (and to walk off the burger, hot dogs, baked beans, cheesy potatoes, and all the yummy desserts).

You all made us realize just how blessed we are to have so many friends to make our Memorial Day weekend special. Barry and Nancy (perfectmatch300) were the catalyst that started this tradition and I am grateful to them for that. They are my son's surrogate parents while he is interning at WDW and for that we are most thankful. And to think. It all started with a mouse.

Sounded like a good time was had by all. We are feeling better now thanks to the wonders of medicine. Sorry we missed the fun, see you all next year!

John...we had a wonderful time. I actually went for a jog early the next morning to work off some of the food ;)

Todd is talking about possibly camping up your way around the time of the peddler's thing. Any good camping suggestions? Do you know the dates?

We went to the fall the next day and it was wonderful to see. We walked towards the inn and could smell the flowers. Next year we are going to grab lunch and go there since they have places to eat near the Inn.

Thanks for having us. It is wonderful of you and Sue to open your home and hearts the way you do.

BTW...tell Sue I would love to hear the updates she gets nightly. I found the one she got while we were there very interesting.

Hello NE Ohians! Try Punderson State Park. It has cabins and a lake, indoor pool..very nice..not expensive.
