Northeast DISers...what's your weather like?

DH left FL yesterday to drive his mother back to MA. There is snow on the ground now. Will it still be here when they get home tonight? They'll drive back the other way!

Ice storm here. Power out in parts of town. It looks like it's going to warm up a bit today. Snow due over the next several days.

I want SUMMER!!!!

We have almost 1/2 inch of ice on everything! We're prepared though, in case the power goes off. Woodstove's going, gas fireplace is ready, and the generator's been fired up. DH's been very busy this morning!

Here in RI it is about 10am and COLD, DREARY and WET!! It was ICY in early AM. DH called from work to let me know this.Also weather forecast does not look good until at least WEDNESDAY!! I want Summer and HOT weather!! Joan

I love that last week there was no snow and today there's gotta be 4 inches out there!! And,its SO wicked pretty!! C'mon,the trees look like they're sugar coated! How can you not love that? I'll never leave New England,never.

It's about 34 here now and we still have these ice pellets coming down.
I am doubtful we're going to get any spring at this point. The 10day forecast is calling for temps in the 30's and 40's all but one day.

Oh and they're predicting another snowstorm on Monday night

I can hear your wicked accent as I read your posts. (I'm a native of Taunton - so I really appreciate it.)

But yes, I agree that's it's pretty. It was pretty in November when it started... but I'm ready to see my wicked pretty LAWN again too.
