North To Alaska--May 3, 2011 on the Disney Wonder

Emily! We will be staying at BLT too! We got rooms for both sides of the family! :scared1:

Christmas time is such fun at WDW!!! You will be there just before us. Get our rooms ready! :thumbsup2 We are soooo excited about our trip.

Sounds like a LOT of us will be down there!

I've got to continue with our dining reservations. I'm not liking the do it yourself reservations on-line... I'd like to just go to one place and select the restaurants I want to check availability. Am I doing something wrong?

Georgie, I'm so looking forward to it. It's our first trip home there. The Contemporary has always been a fav. resort of mine so for there to finally be a DVC there is really exciting to me. We've got a 2 bdr MK view. Only 55 more days to go.

You should be able to check just one restaurant for availability. The only reason it should show you more than one option is if your 1st choice isn't available.

Hi Peter....Mom and I are having a quick trip to WDW to see the Christmas decorations and "stuff"...December 8-14....managed to snag $59 each way non-stop on Southwest and got a great passholder rate at Pop Century....can't wait to see the Christmas decorations and I'm sure we'll see you guys down there.

Jamie and I are coming December 11-14. Now, Jamie may have to back out because of drill team, but if she does, I'm still coming. I can't fly out here until the morning of the 11th though......

Linda...we'd love to meet up...the only day we have plans is the 11th but I'm sure you'll be tired from your flight...

Ok who all is headed down in December?

just got Air for $89 jetblue nonstop :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

We will be there before you.
MNSSHP and then a $99 cruise over Halloween.

Has anyone ever done the Wishes Desert Party?

Looking forward to the Wine and Food at Epcot.
Maybe even the Tequila bar I keep hearing about.

Hope everyone has a great week.

We're doing the Wishes Dessert Party at MVMCP when we're down in Nov./Dec. Looking forward to seeing what it's like. You'll have to give a mini-report after you get back.

We will be on a 4 night cruise Dec 6-10 with our tablemates from the Panama Canal cruise, then we are all going to WDW for the next 5 nights.:goodvibes We just did a B2B last month with a 5 night stay at the Poly, but I found out I had pneumonia when i got to Florida , and aside from going to Epcot for 1 day-rented a scooter because of difficulty breathing-I stayed pretty much in the room sleeping so that I wouldn't miss the cruise. You should have seen the looks :sad2:I got when I was on the scooter-I didn't look sick-so I guess people thought I was trying to go to the front of the line. I don't know if it was because I didn't try to get special treatment, or what, but they never offered "perks". I got off the scooter and stood in line with everyone-:cutie:just couldn't walk that far in the heat.

Free Internet??? I never knew that. Do you have to let them know when you check in that you'd like that service turned on? :surfweb:

No as long as your a DVC member it should be automatic. You just log on and go. Just be sure to check your bill at the end of the trip to verify that you weren't charged.

There should be a high speed internet cable and plug located somewhere in the villa. In BLT I've read it's in the master bedroom. If it's not in the room or in the closet, just call housekeeping and they'll bring you one. I'm taking our Apple Airport Express with us that way I can set up wifi in the room that way I'm not confined to one room the whole time. I've read of lots of people doing this. I've also read that if you do this, the trick to getting it to work is you have to log in one time with the cable plugged into your computer, then you can just plug it into the airport and your good to go with the wifi. No one knows why it works this way, but for some reason if you try to just go straight to the wifi it won't connect.

I have plans on the 11th too. After that evening, I'm free! How about another visit to Cinderella's castle? :rotfl:

Has anyone heard of any Disney pre/post excursions for Alaska? I've been looking at some excursions offered by other companies during our cruise, but was curious if anyone has heard anything about Disney offerings?

Fall is here in New Jersey!!! Leaves are falling and the colors are slowly changing.
