My family lives in South Jersey and they were hosting my DNiece's Engagement Party tomorrow. Everyone is so disappointed it had to be cancelled.

It is almost a white out here in Severn, MD (half way between DC and Baltimore). We have about a foot of snow now and still coming down hard.

It started a few hours ago here. Not too deep, but def. happening quickly!

I hope everybody made it ok... we got about 29 inches according to accuweather... but in my backyard the yardstick says 38 maybe bec. of all the wind drift...

We live in Southern Delaware and are getting wallopped at the moment. It started snowing around 330pm and really sticking around 730-8pm...it's nasty out there.

My facebook status sums it up:

4:50am. It's heinous outside. Snow is sticking to everything, literally. Stop signs, trees, wires, entire facades of houses are solid white. There's been some flashes of lightning and the lights have been blinking on and off for a while. Probably only a matter of time before power is out. They plowed our street about an hour ago and you can't even tell it's been done.

We got 2".
