Just got one..is it only usable in the Dept store? I really only opened it to get the deals that day...now I have it I am wondering.

Nordstrom Store Card - only good at Nordstrom store

VISA (of any kind) accepted anywhere Visa is accepted. Same goes for MC, Discover, AmEx, etx.

Which one do you have? I'm a holder of a Nordstrom Visa Platinum, and I absolutely love it! You get 1 point per dollar spent anywhere, and 2 points per dollar spent in Nordstrom stores anywhere. When you hit 2,000 points, you get a free $20 certificate for use in Nordstrom. Not to mention that during Sale times (Annual and Half Yearly) you can get up to 10 points per dollar spent in Nordstrom...

The credit limits can go up kinda quickly though, so you really need to pay attention to how much you spend on it. Mine went from $5,000 to $10,000 within 4 years. Luckily, I pay off my balance each month so I don't really pay attention to the APRs or any of that.

But I do love my super shiny Nordstrom Visa card

It's also the Platinum and came with a $10,500 limit which is why I asked.
I opened it last week in Scottsdale, AZ as there was a huge sale on and as you mentioned, all kinds of bonus points. I have already given it a good breaking in! Be interesting to see how many points I got!
